- Manage and oversee the day-to-day warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, picking, packing and dispatch of automotive spare parts.
- Ensure all incoming goods are properly checked, recorded, labelled and stored according to company procedures.
- Manage inventory accuracy, stock movements and warehouse documentation.
- Conduct regular cycle counts, stock takes and inventory reconciliation to minimise discrepancies.
- Monitor stock levels and ensure sufficient availability of fast-moving automotive spare parts.
- Ensure proper arrangement and storage of different types of automotive components to maximise warehouse space and accessibility.
- Plan and coordinate inbound and outbound shipments, including transportation arrangements where required.
- Monitor warehouse productivity, turnaround time, order fulfilment and other operational KPIs.
- Lead, supervise and develop the warehouse team, including storekeepers, warehouse assistants and other operational staff.
- Allocate manpower and daily work assignments according to operational requirements.
- Ensure warehouse staff follow company SOPs, safety procedures and housekeeping standards.
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Warehouse Management, Business Administration or related field.
- Minimum 5–8 years of relevant warehouse experience, with at least 2–3 years in a supervisory/managerial position.
- Experience managing a warehouse, distribution centre or spare-parts warehouse is highly preferred.
- Automotive / automotive parts / machinery / industrial distribution experience would be an advantage.
- Strong knowledge of inventory management, stock control, receiving, picking, packing and dispatch operations.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse SOPs, stock-taking and inventory reconciliation.
- Willing to be based in Sarawak.
