Certa Lubricants is responsible for the Castrol brand across certain sectors on the Island of Ireland. We are an ambassador distributor for Castrol’s two divisions – Automotive & Industrial, Marine & Energy. Based at our head office in Portlaoise, our warehouses and customer service team are located in Portarlington. We are also appointed distributors of Texaco and Lotos lubricants.

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Certa Lubricants team on a temporary basis. This position is full-time, Portarlington based and is suited to someone who has a passion for customer service, is an excellent team player and had experience in a warehouse environment.
Main Purpose of the Role:
Working within the warehouse, the primary purpose of this role is to support the Warehouse Supervisor to manage and distribute stock. This position is critical in ensuring the operation of an effective and efficient distribution operation.
The warehouse supervisor will provide direction and support as required and will provide regular feedback.
Main Duties:
- Working with Warehouse Manager to monitor stock.
- Assist in managing incoming deliveries ensuring they are correctly recorded, cross-checking documentation to goods received.
- Assist warehouse manager to ensure all orders are shipped within agreed SLAs.
- Packing orders for distribution.
- Maintain a safe, tidy and efficient warehouse. Assisting with the unloading of vehicles and the checking in of stock
- Sorting and placing materials or items on to racks, and shelves.
- Collecting items from throughout the warehouse, preparing and completing warehouse orders for delivery or pickup according to a schedule.
- Performing warehouse inventory controls via scanner and or through a computer.
- Stock counting and location checks.
Qualifications / Experience Required
- At least 12 months experience in a warehouse environment is required.
- Working knowledge of IT systems

- Very organised with ability to plan and prioritise.
- Ability to work on a team, with strong interpersonal skills.
- Self-starter: ability to work on own initiative but also being part of a small close-knit team
- Agile and adaptable - can work in a rapidly changing and dynamic environment under tight deadlines.
- Strong communication skills.
