Wanted: Operations Manager for Australia's Fastest Growing Digital Agency

Dear Operational Maestro,

If you’ve been searching through countless lifeless job listings on Seek…

Almost slipping into a deep coma from the “We’re looking for a highly experienced Operations Manager... blah blah blah” job adverts…

And you’re looking for an exciting opportunity to join the fastest growing digital agency in the country…

Then this will be the most important job listing you ever read.

Firstly... stop what you're doing and watch this.

Okay let’s continue...

We are a full-service digital marketing agency that is growing FAST!

For the last three years, we’ve been ranked as the fastest-growing digital agency…

And the 17th fastest growing company in the country by The Australian Financial Review…

We're a world-class herd of digital strategists, direct response marketers, designers, growth hackers and developers, banded together to help you reach your growth goals.

And this is just one of the reasons we’ve been named as one of the BEST PLACES TO WORK in Australia & New Zealand by AFR and one of the Top 100 Coolest Companies in Australia by Anthill Magazine.

Look, the list goes on and on…because we’ve seriously won more awards than you can shake a stick at…

Are you a master of multitasking, a champion of organisation, and a wizard of operational efficiency? If you found yourself nodding enthusiastically, this might just be the career defining opportunity you've been waiting for!

We're not just looking for an Operations Manager; we're scouting for a genuine linchpin—someone who can anchor the storm of daily activities and help pave the path for our agency's future success.

Reporting directly to the General Manager, you'll serve as the backbone that supports our digital marketing agency. While you don’t need to be an expert in digital marketing (but it’s HUGE plus), you DO need top-notch managerial and organisational skills.

You’ll know our agency at every level, and you’ll be involved in everything from operational strategy to staffing to compliance. This is a challenging, demanding role and the right fit will be an exceptional problem solver who will do whatever it takes to help us achieve our goals.

This role is NOT the next step in your career to “see” if you might like it. It’s a whole-ass grown up job, and you need to know what you’re doing.

What You’ll Do

• Lead the daily operations, ensuring that our agency runs like a well-tuned machine.
• Live and breathe our values.
• Collaborate closely with senior management to transform strategic plans into actionable goals.
• Mentor and manage our exceptional team, fostering a productive and positive work environment.
• Ensure smooth and efficient delivery of our agency services, maximising client satisfaction.
• Carry out your daily responsibilities as efficiently and cost-effectively as possible.

What You’ll Be Measured On

• Company KPIs: Your focus will be on turning targets into triumphs.
• Operational Efficiency: Streamline workflows for optimum performance, ensuring our service delivery is second-to-none.
• Client Satisfaction: Make sure our client feedback is music to our ears.
• Budget Adherence: Manage financials with meticulous accuracy.

Requirements

What You’ll Need To Bring To The Table

• Leadership Excellence: Proven ability to inspire and lead diverse teams.
• Strategic Acumen: Capacity to turn visionary goals into everyday operations.
• Organisational Skills: The more plates you can spin, the better.
• Tech Literacy: You should feel at home with modern tools and software.
• Financial Understanding: You can translate budget lines into strategic decisions.
• Management Experience: At least 3 years in a relevant management and leadership role is essential.
• Strategic Decision-Making: Demonstrable experience in making business-critical decisions.
• Executive Communication: Exceptional ability to communicate complex ideas to both team members and C-level executives.
• Change Leadership: Proven track record of leading organisations through periods of growth or transformation.
• International Experience: Having worked in a global setting is a plus.

Here’s What To Do Next...

Please take the time to write a Cover Letter that tells us about YOU.

Not some wishy-washy cover letter like…

“I’m 32-year-old Virgo from Elsternwick - who enjoys TikTok, oat lattes and Ryan Reynolds”...

No.

I want the details.

The juice.

The nitty-gritty.

Specifically why you think you would be the perfect fit for this role.

If you can’t take the time to do this.

Please don’t waste our time or yours by applying.

Best of luck.

P.S. If this job description excited you even just a little bit. And you believe that you are indeed the Ops jedi we're looking for.

Then please write and send your cover letter ASAP as we're currently interviewing for this position and I'm sure it will get filled fast.

Who knows. Maybe it will be a fit and maybe it won't.

And maybe, just maybe, this will turn out to be the best job you've ever had.

Benefits

The juicy part:

• Generous salary - we want Australia's best talent and reward as such.
• Extensive training and full support - we take training very seriously and will provide you with the industry's very best training, giving you the knowledge and confidence needed for greatness.
• Amazing growth prospects and upward mobility in our fast-paced agency.
• INSANE events - You name it and we've probably done it.
• Company trips away - such as glamping, Bali & Thailand.
