Headquartered in the heart of London and expanding across Europe and the US, Vitesse is where your ideas power tomorrow’s insurance solutions. Are you ready to make a difference? You're in the right place.

Reporting to the CCO, Europe, the VP of Pre-Sales & Delivery will sit on the European Leadership Team, helping shape the commercial strategy that supports Vitesse’s growth. The role will be accountable for ensuring Vitesse wins high-quality opportunities, develops commercially viable and repeatable solutions, and delivers standardised, scalable customer implementations and delivery that improve efficiency and accelerate revenue growth.

This is a senior leadership role with a clear expectation of hands-on involvement, particularly across Pre-Sales. Alongside setting the strategy and direction for Pre-Sales and Delivery, you will work directly with the team on priority opportunities, leading technical discovery, shaping solutions, supporting client conversations and helping progress strategic deals. You will be comfortable moving between executive-level discussions and detailed delivery, stepping in personally where your expertise can make a difference.

You will lead, develop and scale a team responsible for pre-sales engineering, technical discovery, solution design, implementation planning, integration leadership, project management and customer onboarding.

The role spans the customer journey from mid-stage prospect engagement through technical validation, implementation, go-live, early adoption and handover to Customer Success. You will act as the bridge between Sales, Product, Engineering, Customer Success, Operations and clients, ensuring the solution sold is commercially viable and delivered consistently at scale.

You will set the strategy for how Pre-Sales and Delivery contribute to Vitesse’s efficiency and revenue growth, influence executive stakeholders, coach team members and standardise delivery processes. You will also ensure customer and market feedback informs product strategy and future proposition development.

The role carries UK oversight for technical implementation and project management delivery. Performance will be measured against operational KPIs and SLAs focused on deal value, speed and time to revenue. Standardising ways of working will be central to reducing time to value and supporting scalable growth.

Core responsibilities:

• Lead UK/Europe Pre-Sales and Delivery, setting the strategic direction and end-to-end operating model from qualification through to Customer Success handover, while coaching and developing a strong leadership bench.

• Take a hands-on role in Pre-Sales delivery, working directly with customers and prospects to lead discovery conversations, shape solutions, deliver workshops and demonstrations, and support priority opportunities through to conversion.

• Sit on the UK/Europe Leadership Team, representing Pre-Sales, onboarding, technical delivery, Implementation, and customer and product feedback.

• Build a high-performing team culture focused on customer value, technical excellence, commercial impact, repeatability, accountability and operational discipline.

• Partner with senior leadership, Sales, Product, Engineering, Operations, Compliance and Customer Success to support enterprise growth, scalable delivery and cross-functional alignment.

• Lead organisational and commercial transformation across Pre-Sales and Delivery, evolving team structures, ways of working, propositions, pricing conversations and delivery models to support scalable, repeatable growth.

• Define and execute the UK/Europe Pre-Sales strategy, ensuring prospects and partners clearly understand the value, capabilities and practical application of the Vitesse platform.

• Personally lead and contribute to technical discovery, solution workshops, product demonstrations, proof of concepts, RFI/RFP responses and proposals, ensuring customer needs are translated into compelling and commercially viable solutions.

• Act as a trusted executive-level adviser on strategic opportunities, engaging directly with senior customer stakeholders to shape solutions, build credibility and accelerate deal conversion.

• Partner with Sales leadership to improve deal qualification, solution quality, conversion rates and implementation readiness.

• Establish governance for solution design and delivery quality across integration architecture, data mapping, testing and go-live, ensuring effective collaboration across Product, Engineering, Security, Operations, Compliance and Customer Success.

• Maintain structured feedback loops between customers and internal teams, translating market insights into clear product enhancements and roadmap priorities.

• Own the UK/Europe Delivery function end to end, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget and to a high standard, while achieving targeted time to revenue.

• Ensure disciplined delivery governance, seamless handover into Customer Success, and clear ownership of customer adoption, early value and expansion opportunities.

• Provide executive leadership and hands-on support for complex customer escalations, integrations, partner dependencies and delivery risks.

• Lead and develop the four functional pillars of Pre-Sales, Tech Support and Onboarding, Solutions, and PMO and LFO, ensuring clear accountability, collaboration and consistent delivery standards.

• Define and manage KPIs across Pre-Sales and Delivery, including deal support quality, solution readiness, implementation cycle time, time to first value, go-live success, customer satisfaction, defect resolution and delivery performance.

• Build scalable operating processes, governance frameworks, reporting, KPIs and SLAs that provide clear visibility of pipeline readiness, delivery risks, project performance and product gaps.

• Foster a culture of operational excellence, continuous improvement, clear communication and accountability, ensuring the organisation consistently delivers strong customer outcomes and supports Vitesse’s continued growth.
