1.Oversee the overall well-being of the equipment section, encompassing team morale, KPI performance, and long-term success.
2.Set clear expectations on compliance with MRB, TECN, 8D, and specification requirements.
3.Conduct regular risk assessments and ensure action items are identified and tracked to closure.
4.Drive effective utilisation of SPC, FMEA, and Quality Management Systems for timely issue detection and continuous improvement.
5.Establish and sustain continuous improvement programs to prevent quality, line yield, and sort yield excursions.
6.Maintain a project monitoring system to track progress and performance against fab requirements.
7.Set section targets and goals to minimise wafer scrap, defects, and rework, while improving process capability to meet operational needs.
8.Forecast and manage equipment repair and maintenance (R&M) budget; drive cost reduction initiatives.
9.Collaborate closely with Process and Manufacturing Section Managers to resolve equipment constraints, optimise OEE, and align metrology sampling with quality and manufacturing requirements.
10.Establish and monitor vendor performance metrics to drive quality and cost improvements; maintain strong vendor relationships
