Leads and builds an HMI/UX validation practice for automotive interfaces at Applied Intuition: defining validation strategy and quality standards, creating automated UI test infrastructure (Appium, simulators, visual regression) integrated with CI/CD, leading debugging of UI and system issues, and mentoring test engineers.

Responsibilities
Define and drive HMI and UX validation strategy
Establish quality standards for display logic, control flows, and user experience
Build automated UI testing infrastructure
Develop test harnesses, simulators, and visual regression frameworks
Integrate validation infrastructure with CI/CD
Lead debugging of complex UI and system issues
Partner on feature test plans
Mentor test engineers
Requirements
7+ years of software validation experience with UI, UX, display, or HMI testing
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
Experience defining validation strategy, methodology, and automation infrastructure
Experience with automated UI testing and Appium
Experience with end-to-end test planning from requirements through release sign-off
