Research-driven UX/UI Designer (level III) for a globally used professional design application. Leads end-to-end UX: mixed-method research, product analytics interpretation, Figma prototyping, workshops, and WCAG 2.1 AA accessibility, on a globally distributed team. Fully remote within Brazil under a CLT contract.
This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, which manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a UX/UI Designer III based in Brazil.
We are looking for an experienced, research-driven UX/UI Designer to shape intuitive and impactful experiences for a globally used design application serving professional users worldwide. In this hands-on role, you will lead end-to-end UX design, combining qualitative research, quantitative data, and interaction design to solve complex user problems. You will collaborate with product managers, researchers, data analysts, and engineers within a globally distributed team. Your work will turn user insights and product analytics into actionable design strategies, validated prototypes, and measurable improvements. You will also facilitate collaborative workshops, champion accessibility and inclusive design, and help strengthen research practices across the team. This opportunity is ideal for a designer who thrives in a dynamic technology environment and enjoys balancing independent ownership with cross-functional collaboration.
Lead end-to-end UX design for product areas, from discovery and problem definition through research, validation, high-fidelity design, and developer handoff.
Independently plan and conduct mixed-method research, including user interviews, contextual inquiries, moderated and unmoderated usability testing, surveys, and Jobs-to-be-Done studies.
Partner with product managers and data analysts to interpret product analytics, behavioral data, funnel metrics, heatmaps, and A/B test results, identifying opportunities for UX improvements.
Translate research findings and quantitative insights into actionable recommendations, journey maps, opportunity frameworks, design principles, and clear design rationales.
Create intuitive interaction flows, wireframes, and high-fidelity prototypes that address user needs, task contexts, and business objectives.
Facilitate discovery workshops, assumption-mapping sessions, concept validation activities, and alignment discussions with cross-functional stakeholders.
Define UX success metrics and collaborate with product and analytics teams to measure the impact of design changes after release.
Apply inclusive design principles and accessibility best practices to ensure experiences align with WCAG 2.1 AA standards.
Collaborate with the Lead User Researcher to maintain consistent research practices and contribute to the team's research repository and knowledge base.
Mentor and support less experienced designers, promoting evidence-based decision-making, strong design rationale, and high standards of UX quality.
Solid experience in UX design, ideally within B2B SaaS, enterprise software, or other complex product environments, with a strong portfolio demonstrating research-informed design decisions.
Proven ability to independently plan, conduct, and synthesize mixed-method UX research, including usability testing, in-depth interviews, contextual inquiries, and survey design.
Strong quantitative analysis skills, with experience interpreting product analytics, behavioral funnels, heatmaps, and A/B testing results to identify user pain points and opportunities.
Expert proficiency in Figma, including complex interaction flows, interactive prototyping, component usage, and design handoff documentation.
Ability to communicate research findings through clear insight reports, journey maps, opportunity frameworks, design principles, and evidence-based recommendations.
Experience facilitating discovery, collaboration, and alignment workshops with product managers, engineers, and business stakeholders.
Strong understanding of interaction design principles, information architecture, usability heuristics, and user-centered design methodologies.
Working knowledge of WCAG 2.1 AA accessibility standards and experience incorporating accessibility considerations into design workflows.
Advanced English proficiency for daily collaboration, research discussions, stakeholder presentations, and communication with an international team.
Comfortable working independently in ambiguous, fast-paced technology environments where priorities may evolve.
Strong communication, analytical thinking, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
A commitment to inclusive design, continuous learning, and supporting the development of other designers.
Permanent, full-time employment under a Brazilian CLT contract, with a 42-hour workweek.
Flexible workplace arrangement: fully remote within Brazil, with a hybrid option for residents of Serra Gaúcha or the Greater São Paulo area.
