- Design intuitive experiences for MFT product administration, workflow and project design, dashboards, analytics, and AI Assistant features.
- Provide implementation-ready designs, interaction details, and acceptance criteria.
- Review implemented UI and work with Engineering to resolve usability, visual, and interaction issues.
Customer Validation and Product Insight
- Plan and conduct customer interviews, usability testing, and other validation activities.
- Use analytics, telemetry, customer feedback, and research findings to identify usability issues and guide decisions.
- Share clear findings and recommendations with Product, Engineering, and stakeholders.
Design Systems and Consistency
- Apply and contribute to standard Fortra UI patterns and MFT-specific reusable components.
- Improve consistency across GoAnywhere, Globalscape, and future MFT product experiences.
- Partner with Engineering to align designs with design-system and front-end standards.
- Identify opportunities to simplify workflows and reduce UI inconsistency.
Collaboration and Influence
- Facilitate design reviews and working sessions.
- Manage design priorities and communicate progress, risks, and tradeoffs.
- Contribute feedback in team critiques and cross-product design discussions.
QUALIFICATIONS
- 8+ years of product design, UX design, or related experience, including substantial enterprise software experience.
- Experience owning complex product features from discovery through implementation.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating strategic product thinking, interaction and visual design, prototypes, and shipped enterprise products.
- Experience partnering with Product Management and Engineering in an Agile environment.
- Strong knowledge of usability, responsive design, and modern UI patterns.
- Proficiency with Figma and familiarity with usability testing and product analytics tools.
- Strong communication skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
