Unity Developer

At Enable Education, we take learning seriously, but ourselves? Not so much. We’re a fully remote team of creative minds, coffee enthusiasts, and GIF connoisseurs who believe that work should be meaningful and fun, without the corporate grind.

Our mission is to shake up how people teach and learn. We build innovative, hands-on learning experiences that are inclusive, engaging, and anything but boring. From custom simulations to technical training platforms, our work helps organizations actually change how people learn, not just check boxes.

We're looking for an experienced Unity Developer who can bring creative ideas to life, solve tricky technical problems, ship polished interactive experiences and jump into existing projects. Most of this role will support RedT Kids' Media projects, with some Enable Education projects as required.

Why this role is different

Hands on development

You won’t spend your days sitting in endless meetings. You’ll be building, troubleshooting, improving, and shipping real interactive experiences.

Flexible, remote first lifestyle

Work from anywhere in Canada and shape your day around your life. We operate with core collaboration hours of 10:00 AM–3:00 PM EST, with flexibility outside that window.

Interesting technical challenges

Our work goes beyond traditional eLearning. You may work on custom simulations, interactive training applications, platform integrations, and other technology enabled learning experiences.

Small team autonomy

You’ll work closely with designers, developers, Learning Experience Designers, and project leads. We value people who can take ownership, make sound technical decisions, and communicate when they see a better way to do something.

What you’ll bring

You’ll thrive in this role if you bring a strong mix of:

• Technical problem solving - You can dig into unfamiliar code, identify what's happening, and find practical solutions without needing everything mapped out for you.
• User first thinking - You notice the interaction details that make an experience intuitive, responsive, and engaging.
• Ownership - You follow problems through to resolution and flag risks, blockers, and tradeoffs early.
• Collaboration energy - You enjoy working with designers, artists, animators, learning professionals, and developers to turn ideas into working experiences.
• Detail obsession - You care about performance, usability, clean code, consistency, and polish.
