• Ability to collect, cleanse, organize, validate, and analyze data to solve business problems and test hypotheses.
• Familiarity with analytical and data modeling techniques including segmentation, forecasting, handling outliers, benchmarking, and predictive analysis.
• Intellectual curiosity and demonstrated ability to investigate ambiguous business questions, identify relevant data, test hypotheses, and develop evidence-based conclusions.
• Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills with the ability to build trusted relationships across functions.
• Experience communicating findings through reports, dashboards, presentations, or other data visualizations.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate complex analyses into actionable business insights.
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel and familiarity with current analytical, business intelligence and visualization tools.
• Must be presently authorized to work in the U.S. without a requirement for work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future.
• This position allows for a hybrid work schedule which includes a minimum of 3 days per week in our St. Louis Corporate Office, located at 1832 Schuetz Rd. Saint Louis, MO. All employees are required to submit work from home requests and follow our Work From Home policy, which will be provided to all candidates selected to interview.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with data visualization tools outside of Microsoft Excel, such as Power BI or Tableau.
• Experience applying statistical, predictive, or other data modeling techniques through academic, research, internship, or professional project experience.
• Familiarity with AI productivity tools, prompt engineering, custom GPTs, or other emerging analytical technologies.
• Experience conducting market research, competitive intelligence, or external data research.
• Project or professional experience in insurance, financial services, or consulting.
• Interest in developing deeper expertise in data modeling, advanced analytics, or actuarial science, and their application to underwriting and portfolio decision-making.
