Transportation Operations Specialist (LTL, FTL & Ground Expedite)

Schedule: Night Shift (9 PM – 6 AM) (Sunday - Thursday / Monday - Friday) PHT

Location: Fully Remote (WFH)

What You’ll Do

• Engage directly with vendors and carriers, including dispatchers, to initiate GPS-based tracking for both FTL and LTL shipments.
• Troubleshoot technical issues, initiate ELD and TMS connection requests, and access customer TMS portals to post shipment updates.
• Respond promptly and professionally to customer and carrier inquiries via phone and email.
• Ensure the timely and accurate delivery of cargo to key customers.
• Verify that all shipment documentation is accurate and complete, including bills of lading and other supporting materials.
• Oversee collection and delivery activities on behalf of key clients.
• Schedule and trace customer shipments from pickup to delivery, ensuring accuracy in all domestic transportation records.
• Coordinate and monitor Domestic Ground Expedite shipments, ensuring timely pickups and deliveries through proactive communication with carriers and dispatchers.
• Process transportation documentation with great attention to detail and compliance.
• Fulfill other responsibilities as assigned by management on a day-to-day basis.
  

What You Need

• 2–3 years of industry-related experience in logistics, transportation, or freight forwarding.
• Hands-on experience with Domestic LTL, Truckload (FTL), and Ground Expedite is required.
• Strong customer service skills and the ability to manage communication professionally and efficiently.
• Working knowledge of freight forwarding procedures, regulations, and departments.
• Proficiency in desktop and web applications, including Transportation Management Systems (TMS) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook).
• Experience with systems such as CargoWise, SAP, or Turvo is a plus.
• Excellent attention to detail, time management, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment, and manage multiple shipments with minimal supervision.
• Experience with Domestic Air Freight is a plus.
