We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Civil Engineering graduate to join our team as a Trainee Planning Engineer. This entry-level role is ideal for individuals looking to build a career in cost estimation and quantity take-offs within the construction industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in preparing quantity take-offs from architectural and structural drawings.
- Support senior estimators in developing accurate cost estimates for residential, commercial, or infrastructure projects.
- Use Bluebeam Revu for digital plan review, markup, and measurement.
- Utilize PlanSwift for efficient and accurate material quantity estimation.
- Participate in bid preparation, vendor quotation analysis, and document control.
- Collaborate with design, procurement, and project teams to ensure estimate alignment with project scope.
- Maintain updated databases of costs and estimation templates.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from reputed institute / university
- Strong understanding of construction drawings, BOQs, and specifications.
- Basic proficiency in Bluebeam Revu and PlanSwift is essential.
- Good analytical and numerical skills.
- Proficient in MS Excel and other MS Office tools.
- Strong attention to detail, time management, and communication skills.
