Test Engineer

Want to be part of transforming road freight? Einride is showing the world a new way to move, based on the latest digital, autonomous and electric technologies. We build the technology that hauls freight efficiently, and we put it to work for the world's leading manufacturers, retailers, logistics providers and defense organizations, all working toward a future where moving goods cost less for our customers, and less for the planet.

Founded in 2016, Einride became the first company in the world to deploy a cab-less autonomous electric vehicle on a public road (Sweden, 2019). In 2022, we were the first to successfully operate such a vehicle on a U.S. public road. In June 2026, Einride became a publicly listed company on Nasdaq, a milestone that reflects a decade of turning what once looked like science fiction into everyday reality. Today, our technology moves freight across North America, Europe, and the Middle East for some of the world's biggest shippers.

The Tech Operations team deploys and maintains Einride’s autonomous electric trucks at customer sites, bringing our technology from theory to reality. You’ll join an ambitious, collaborative team focused on reshaping the future of freight.

You will

• Design, plan & execute test cases for autonomous drive software and hardware in the complete vehicle systems at closed tracks and real-world conditions.
• Perform hands-on field and vehicle testing, compiling results, reports, address issues & topics for improvement towards the engineering teams.
• Be part of ensuring that our autonomous electric truck solution gets successfully installed and delivers on their promise of efficiency, safety, and reliability in the dynamic, unpredictable environments of public roads and customer sites.
• Perform data collections & analysis from customer sites and other real world environments.

We expect you to

• Hold at least a High School diploma.
• Have a Truck driving license (C-license).
• Be experienced in vehicle diagnostics, fault tracing, software integration and field testing of complete vehicle systems.
• Bring prior experience in verification & validation or testing within automotive systems.
