AdvertThis is an exciting opportunity to join our team and support the testing and implementation of upgrades to the Trust's electronic patient record systems.
This will involve working with internal development teams and external software suppliers on new functionality and bug fixes, writing and executing functional and regression tests, and leading on the testing and implementation of system upgrades, including producing release documentation. This will support the implementation of digital solutions across the Trust.
This role will report to the lead test analyst and will require close collaboration with business analysts, lead test analysts, test analysts, developers and project managers from the digital development and digital projects teams.
UHS supports agile and remote working; regular attendance at Southampton General Hospital will be required in this role
Core hours for the team are between 8.00 and 18.00 Monday to Friday, but flexibility will be required depending on service needs.

Detailed job description and main responsibilities In this role, your key responsibilities will include:
- leading on the testing and implementation of system upgrades
- planning and executing manual test cases
- performing regression testing to ensure a software release has no detrimental impact
- record test results, identify and analyse anomalies and raise and track defects with the appropriate tests and third party suppliers
