Technical Project Manager

Who We Are

Healthcare needs a better rhythm: one that keeps care continuous and deeply human. Heidi is building an AI Care Partner that works alongside clinicians to make that possible.

We're a team of doctors, engineers, designers, researchers, and creatives building tools that help clinicians stay focused on what matters most: their patients.

In just 18 months, Heidi has given back more than 18 million hours to healthcare professionals, supporting 73 million patient visits in 116 countries. Today, more than two million patient visits each week are powered by Heidi worldwide.

Backed by significant venture funding, we're growing rapidly across the US, UK, Canada, and Europe, partnering with leading health systems and thousands of clinicians globally.

The Role

At Heidi, the Technical Project Manager is the operational backbone of how we deliver for enterprise customers. You own the technical project lifecycle from post-signature through successful go-live — keeping internal teams aligned, customers confident, and implementations on track.

You'll work closely with Customer Success, Engineering, Clinical Associates, and Product to navigate complex enterprise implementations involving EHR integrations, custom clinical workflows, and multi-stakeholder environments. You bring enough technical fluency to lead the conversation, and enough organizational rigor to make sure nothing falls through the cracks.

What you’ll do:

• Project Leadership: Own the end-to-end technical project plan for enterprise implementations — defining milestones, managing timelines, tracking dependencies, and driving ownership and accountability across internal and external teams

• Technical Scoping & Planning: Lead the creation of detailed technical project plans in collaboration with Engineering and the Solutions Engineer, translating customer requirements and solution briefs into structured, executable delivery plans

• Implementation Planning & Coordination: Lead implementation planning sessions with customer IT, clinical informatics, and operational stakeholders — aligning on integration approach, configuration requirements, and go-live readiness

• External Stakeholder Management: Serve as the primary technical point of contact for customers post-signature, managing expectations, communicating progress, and ensuring customers feel supported and informed at every stage of the implementation

• Internal Stakeholder Alignment: Act as the voice of the customer internally — bringing back field feedback, surfacing bugs and product gaps, and escalating issues to Engineering and Product with the context needed to prioritize and resolve them quickly

• Customer Success Partnership: Work hand-in-hand with Customer Success to ensure a seamless implementation experience, with clear handoffs, shared context, and a unified customer-facing presence

• Risk & Escalation Management: Proactively identify risks to timeline or scope, manage change requests through a structured process, and escalate issues before they become customer-impacting problems

What we will look for:

• 3–5 years of experience in a Technical Project Manager, Implementation Manager, or customer-facing delivery role in SaaS, healthcare IT, or enterprise software

• Proven ability to lead complex, multi-stakeholder enterprise implementations from kickoff through go-live

• Technically fluent and comfortable discussing HL7 and FHIR integrations, APIs, SSO, and data workflows

• Experience working directly with EMRs, integrations platforms, or API vendors

• Exceptional organizational skills: Able to manage multiple enterprise implementations simultaneously without dropping the ball

• Strong communicator with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. You are equally comfortable in an engineering standup and an executive status call

• A natural escalation manager: You surface problems early, not after they've already impacted the customer

• Comfortable operating autonomously in a fast-paced, early-stage environment where process is still being built

The Way We Work

• Live Forever: We build for healthcare's next decade, not next quarter. We set outrageous targets, lead healthcare forward, and follow the evidence, even when it's uncomfortable.

• Practice Ownership: Everyone here carries the company. We raise the bar on hiring and excellence, own the outcome end-to-end, and focus on what matters over process.

• Move Fast, Fix Faster: The more we do, the more we learn. We ship atoms daily, learn from every release, and stay precise at pace.

• Get Better: The best clinicians teach. So do we. We live in clinicians' reality, bring warmth to the work, and choose clarity, not cleverness.
