Come help customers observe and operate their cloud with confidence!
Amazon CloudWatch is the backbone of monitoring and observability for AWS. CloudWatch enables customers to collect, access, and correlate metrics, logs, traces, and events across their entire AWS environment — giving them the tools to detect anomalies, set alarms, visualize data side by side, take automated actions, troubleshoot issues, and discover insights to keep their applications running smoothly.
We're looking for a Senior Technical Program Manager to drive cross-team programs that span the breadth of CloudWatch — from Logs and Metrics to Alarms, Dashboards, and beyond. You'll partner with engineering teams, product managers, and senior leadership to deliver capabilities that impact virtually every AWS customer.
*Work/Life Balance*
Our team puts a high value on work-life balance. We offer flexibility for in-office and remote work, and generally maintain core collaboration hours from 10am to 4pm.
*Mentorship & Career Growth*
Our team is dedicated to supporting team members at every stage of their career. We have a broad mix of experience levels and tenures, and we celebrate knowledge sharing and mentorship. We care about your growth and try to align projects with your development goals.
*Inclusive Team Culture*
We are intentional about attracting, developing, and retaining amazing talent from diverse backgrounds. We're looking for a teammate who is enthusiastic, empathetic, curious, motivated, and able to work effectively with a diverse team of peers — someone who will help us amplify the positive and inclusive team culture we've been building.
Key job responsibilities
- Drive complex, cross-organizational programs that deliver new CloudWatch capabilities to customers at scale.
- Work with engineering teams to develop roadmaps, execution strategies, and detailed plans for programs that span multiple service teams.
- Identify and manage cross-team dependencies, resolve blockers proactively, and keep stakeholders aligned.
- Represent engineering teams to senior leadership — communicate progress, risks, and trade-offs clearly and concisely.
- Partner with Product Management to translate customer needs into technical program milestones.
- Drive operational excellence, simplification, and engineering efficiency across the organization.
