Welcome to the Agentic Commerce Era

At Commerce, our mission is to empower businesses to innovate, grow, and thrive with our open, AI-driven commerce ecosystem. As the parent company of BigCommerce, Feedonomics, and Makeswift, we connect the tools and systems that power growth, enabling businesses to unlock the full potential of their data, deliver seamless and personalized experiences across every channel, and adapt swiftly to an ever-changing market. We believe in harnessing AI responsibly to unlock new possibilities, and we’re looking for individuals who use it intentionally to solve problems, accelerate outcomes, and expand what’s possible in their role. Our purpose is to help businesses confidently solve complex commerce challenges so they can build smarter, adapt faster, and grow on their own terms. If you want to be part of a team of bold builders, sharp thinkers, and technical trailblazers who shape the future of commerce, this is the place for you.

We are seeking an experienced Technical Program Manager to lead the delivery of strategic programs across our product and engineering organization. In this role, you will serve as the connective tissue between our Austin-based engineering teams and global stakeholders across product, marketing, and sales.

Your initial assignment will focus on programs within Feedonomics, though you may be assigned to other strategic Commerce programs as business needs evolve. As a member of our Strategic Business Operations team, you will drive programs end-to-end, from discovery through general availability, ensuring that initiatives are delivered with precision, speed, and measurable impact for our clients. You will collaborate with both internal stakeholders and external partners to help define and execute on our global roadmap.

As a Commerce brand, Feedonomics is a leading product feed management platform that helps brands, retailers, and agencies list and optimize products across top ecommerce channels worldwide. Feedonomics manages everything from onboarding to ongoing feed optimization, enabling our clients to scale faster with less effort. Feedonomics has earned a strong reputation for a full-service model and powerful technology—all rooted in a commitment to excellence.

What You Will Do

Program & Delivery Leadership

• Lead multiple concurrent programs of work, comprising simultaneous projects from inception to delivery, ensuring on-time, high-quality outcomes for clients.

• Own scope management, change control, capacity planning, dependency tracking, and proactive risk and issue mitigation across all assigned programs.

• Develop and present clear, concise program updates and strategic recommendations to executive audiences.

• Partner with our Commercial team to drive Go-to-Market readiness end-to-end, ensuring all stakeholders understand their roles and deliverables at each phase of release

Stakeholder & Cross-Functional Alignment

• Provide transparent, cross-functional visibility into program status, resource needs, granular requirements, milestones, dates, and escalations

• Drive all cross-functional communication for a program, from kickoff through general availability

• Build strong working relationships across technical and non-technical disciplines, including engineering, data science, product, design, marketing, and sales

• Create and sustain accountability structures that keep all parties aligned and moving forward, using both formal and informal levers

• Influence without authority, motivating teams and leaders at all levels to achieve shared outcomes

• Collaborate with colleagues within the SBO team and across all other functions, contributing to company culture and collective intelligence

Team Enablement & Agile Coaching

• Foster a culture of continuous improvement, helping teams adopt practices that increase velocity, quality, and collaboration

• Bring pragmatic judgment to methodology selection, applying Agile, waterfall, or hybrid approaches as each situation demands.

• Partner with engineering leads to identify and remove blockers that slow the delivery of new features and capabilities

• Serve as an Agile Coach and provide guidance on sprint planning, daily standups, sprint reviews, retrospectives, and release planning

Who You Are

Experience & Credentials

• 7 or more years of experience in technical program or project management, with a focus on medium-to-large-scale software development initiatives within web technologies

• Demonstrated experience managing complex, cross-functional technology programs is strongly preferred

• Own post-program retrospectives and value realization reviews, ensuring initiatives are tracked against intended business outcomes, not just delivery milestones.

• Proven, hands-on proficiency in Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe) with direct coaching experience preferred

• Certifications such as PgMP, PMP, Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), Lean, or Six Sigma are a plus, though not required

Core Competencies

• Strategic Thinking: You connect day-to-day execution to broader business objectives, ensuring the work your teams do moves the needle.

• Communication: You translate complex technical concepts into clear narratives for any audience, from engineers to executives, and maintain that clarity from kickoff through launch

• Problem Solving: You use logic and creativity to make sense of ambiguous situations and arrive at intelligent solutions, even when the full picture is not yet available

• Organizational Excellence: You manage competing priorities with discipline and follow-through. You do not get overwhelmed easily, and very little escapes your attention

• Adaptability: You thrive in fast-moving environments where priorities shift and details are not always available upfront, recalibrating quickly and keeping teams focused

• People Leadership: You inspire those around you, building trust and momentum across diverse, distributed, and global teams

• Curiosity & Innovation: You are constantly seeking ways to improve processes, challenge assumptions, and bring creative thinking to every program you touch

Why Join Us

• Work at the intersection of technology and commerce, contributing to products used by thousands of clients worldwide

• Collaborate with a high-caliber, mission-driven team that values both bold thinking and thoughtful execution

• Grow within an organization that has been recognized multiple times for its product excellence and workplace culture

• Enjoy a hybrid work environment based in Austin, Texas, with deep collaboration across global teams
