ITPS is hiring a Technical Architect to help design, deploy and support a VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF 9.1)/vSphere private cloud at its Chester-le-Street data centre, acting as 2nd/3rd-line escalation. Hybrid role (~3 days onsite); core tech: VMware VCF/vSphere, NSX, vSAN, Terraform, Ansible, PowerCLI, AWS/Azure/GCP, Kubernetes, ITIL.
Salary: £50,000 - 60,000 per year Requirements: Proven experience designing, deploying and supporting VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) / vSphere private cloud environments Degree in Computer Science/IT, or equivalent professional experience Strong knowledge of data centre infrastructure, including compute, storage and networking Experience with capacity management, system documentation and operational processes Working understanding of information and data security principles Experience acting as …
