Requirements:- DV clearance
- Strong background as a Technical Architect, Solutions Architect, or Senior SME
- Expert-level Microsoft Active Directory / AD DS experience
- Experience with enterprise multi-domain and multi-forest environments
- Strong knowledge of GPO, DNS, DHCP, replication, and trusts
- Experience with ADFS, Kerberos, NTLM, and LDAP
- Strong identity and security architecture knowledge, including PAM, PAW, and tiered administration
- Proven experience producing HLDs, LLDs, and technical design documentation
- Strong PowerShell skills
- Experience working in secure or highly regulated environments
- Lead Active Directory architecture, design, and technical delivery
- Design complex domains, forests, trusts, replication, and GPO strategies
- Provide technical leadership as the Active Directory SME
- Design tiered administration, PAM, PAW, and least-privilege solutions
- Architect ADFS, authentication, and identity integrations
- Produce HLDs, LLDs, security designs, and technical documentation
- Conduct Active Directory health checks, security assessments, and remediation
- Support complex identity incidents and technical troubleshooting
- Use PowerShell for automation and administration
- Work closely with security, infrastructure, application teams, and customers

We are seeking a highly experienced Technical Architect to design and deliver secure, enterprise-scale identity and directory solutions in a high-assurance environment. This role can be based in Hampshire or Newcastle and is initially expected to last 5–6 months, with the potential to continue longer term. The rate is £85–£95 per hour, inside IR35, and travel expenses are paid.
