Technical Account Manager Italy

Do you understand both e-commerce technology and commercial customers?
As Technical Account Manager Italy, you help merchants connect, launch and grow with MyParcel. You combine technical guidance with strong account management and business development. You will join at the start of our Italian journey, so this role is for someone who enjoys building, taking ownership and turning early-stage challenges into scalable ways of working.

Why you will choose this role

• Build from the start. You help shape how MyParcel serves and grows customers in Italy. Your ideas and actions will be visible from day one.
• Technology meets commerce. You guide integrations and onboarding while identifying opportunities to win and expand customer accounts.
• Real customer ownership. You remain close to merchants before, during and after implementation and take responsibility for a strong customer experience.
• High autonomy. You organise your work independently, move quickly and involve the right colleagues when needed.
• International collaboration. You work with the Italian commercial team and specialists in Product, Development, Support and Operations across the wider MyParcel organisation.

This is your role

You are the technical and commercial point of contact for Italian merchants, from the first solution discussion through implementation and ongoing account development.

• Technical discovery. Understand a merchant's webshop, marketplaces, shipping flows, OMS/WMS, and operational requirements and translate them into a practical MyParcel setup.
• Onboarding and implementation. Guide customers through configuration, testing and go-live, coordinating dependencies and ensuring clear ownership and follow-up.
• Integration expertise. Support customers working with Shopify, WooCommerce, PrestaShop, Magento, Lightspeed and Amazon Marketplace, and rapidly build knowledge of new integrations as they are added. API and Agentic API knowledge is key.
• Account growth. Proactively engage your customer portfolio, improve adoption and identify opportunities to expand the relationship.
• New business. Join sales conversations, demonstrate the platform, handle technical objections and actively help convert qualified prospects into customers.
• Issue coordination. Structure technical questions, set expectations and coordinate resolution with Support, Product and Development.
• Market feedback. Identify recurring customer needs and integration gaps and turn them into clear, prioritised input for the Italian proposition and product roadmap.
• Scalable foundations. Help develop onboarding standards, playbooks, documentation and working routines that support further growth in Italy.

Your team

You are part of the local MyParcel Italy team and work directly under the Sales Director Italy. You collaborate closely with Italian Sales, as well as central Product, Development, Support, Operations and Marketing teams. The team is small and growing, which means responsibilities are broad and collaboration is practical and direct.

What you bring

Mindset matters as much as experience. You take initiative, stay close to customers and enjoy creating structure in an environment that is still being built. Practical experience and the ability to use AI effectively are both essential.

• Relevant experience. Experience in technical account management, solutions consulting, implementation, customer success or a comparable customer-facing technical role.
• E-commerce knowledge. Practical understanding of webshop and marketplace integrations. Hands-on experience with several of Shopify, WooCommerce, PrestaShop, Magento, Lightspeed and Amazon Marketplace is strongly preferred.
• Technical capability. You can understand APIs, plug-ins, data flows, configuration and troubleshooting at a level that allows you to guide customers and collaborate effectively with developers.
• Commercial drive. You are comfortable identifying opportunities, presenting solutions, handling objections and contributing directly to acquiring and growing customers.
• Customer focus. You communicate clearly, manage expectations and remain accountable until the customer has a workable outcome.
• Builder mentality. You are pragmatic, resilient and energised by ambiguity, change and the opportunity to establish a new business in Italy.
• Communication. Fluent Italian and strong professional English, both written and spoken.
• Mobility. Based in Italy and willing to travel regularly to customers and partners.
• Education. Bachelor-level thinking and working ability, gained through education or relevant professional experience.
• Industry fit. Experience in e-commerce, SaaS, logistics, fulfilment or shipping technology is an advantage.

What we offer

A broad role with direct customer contact, technical challenges and commercial responsibility. You will have room to shape how the function operates and to grow with MyParcel Italy as the business develops.

• Ownership. A central role in building MyParcel's Italian customer base and local operations.

• Development. Access to product knowledge, specialist colleagues and opportunities to deepen your technical, commercial and e-commerce expertise.
• Environment. An entrepreneurial local setup supported by an established European e-commerce organisation.
• Package. Employment terms and compensation aligned with your experience and the local Italian market.
