Lead a team of high-performing Rehabilitation Consultants | Hybrid flexibility | West Perth

Ready to take the next step from senior consultant into leadership, or build on your existing people leadership experience?

At Acumen Health, we're looking for an experienced occupational rehabilitation professional to lead and develop a multidisciplinary team delivering meaningful return-to-work outcomes across Western Australia.

Lead by example while you manage your own portfolio of customers whilst developing and mentoring your team. Utilise your account management skills to strengthen customer relationships and generate new opportunities.

This is an opportunity to combine your clinical expertise, coaching capability, and stakeholder management skills in a role where you'll influence team performance, support professional growth, and continue making a genuine difference in people's lives.

Why join Acumen Health?

At Acumen Health, part of the global APM Group, we're recognised for delivering high-quality occupational rehabilitation, injury management, and workplace health services. Our people are passionate about helping individuals recover, return to work, and achieve positive long-term outcomes.

In return, you'll enjoy:

• Hybrid working and genuine flexibility
• Competitive salary package plus incentives
• Leadership development and career progression opportunities
• Access to Fitness Passport
• Discounts across hundreds of retailers and service providers
• A supportive and collaborative team culture
• The backing of a national organisation with local decision-making

The Opportunity

As Team Manager, you'll lead a team of Rehabilitation Consultants while maintaining a small and manageable caseload. You'll play a critical role in ensuring service quality, developing team capability, and strengthening client relationships across the WA market.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading, mentoring and developing a multidisciplinary team of allied health professionals
• Driving quality, compliance and service excellence across the team
• Supporting consultants through coaching, case discussions and professional development
• Managing a small portfolio of rehabilitation cases
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, insurers, employers and stakeholders
• Contributing to business growth and regional success initiatives
• Promoting positive recovery and return-to-work outcomes for injured workers

About You

We're interested in experienced rehabilitation professionals who are passionate about both people leadership and client outcomes.

You will bring:

• Tertiary qualifications in Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Exercise Physiology, Psychology or Rehabilitation Counselling
• Current professional registration or membership with AHPRA, ESSA, ASORC or RCAA
• Experience within occupational rehabilitation, injury management or workers compensation
• Strong understanding of the WorkCover WA scheme
• Proven ability to mentor, coach or lead others, or a strong desire to step into a leadership role
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and relationship-building skills
• A commitment to delivering exceptional customer and recovery outcomes

Why this role stands out

This isn't a management role where you'll be removed from the work you enjoy. You'll continue to use your rehabilitation expertise while shaping the success of your team and helping consultants grow their careers.

If you're looking for a leadership opportunity with flexibility, autonomy and genuine purpose, we'd love to hear from you.
