Talent Partner

Talent Partner

The mission
Whop is on a mission to deliver everyone a sustainable income. Today, 50,000 people make money on Whop every month, and Whop users are on track to earn more than $5 billion this year. We are building the infrastructure for the next generation of internet entrepreneurs, and we will keep going until one billion people earn money on Whop every month.

The role
Whop is growing quickly, and our leaders need a talent partner who can keep up with the business and help steer it. We are hiring a senior Talent Partner to be the strategic advisor to Whop's leadership team on org design, talent, and performance.

You will learn how the business makes money, understand what each team needs to win, and turn that into a people strategy that leaders actually use. You will run the talent moments that matter most, including performance, calibration, promotion, and engagement cycles, and make sure each one leads to better decisions, not just completed forms.

You will work closely with the Chief People and Talent Officer and coach leaders through their hardest calls.

What you will own

• Partner with senior leaders on org design, workforce planning, and team structure so headcount follows business priorities

• Run Whop's core people cycles end to end: performance acceleration, talent calibrations, promotions, to drive exceptional execution and high agency and growth of our employees.

• Coach leaders and managers through change, underperformance, team conflict, and difficult conversations, and be the first call when something is not working

• Handle complex employee relations issues with sound judgment, speed, and a clear view of the risk to the business

• Use people and business data to anticipate risks and opportunities, frame trade-offs, and make clear, actionable recommendations

• Build career and development paths that reward impact and keep our best people growing at Whop

• Partner with Talent Acquisition, People Operations, Finance, and Legal so hiring plans and employee changes connect cleanly

• Keep core people processes and employee transactions running with rigor, then simplify or automate them as the company changes

• Spot what will break next in the org and fix it before growth turns it into a larger problem

Who you are

• You have five or more years in HR, ideally as an HRBP, People Partner, or Talent Partner at a high-growth technology company

• You have partnered directly with founders or senior leaders and changed how they made decisions

• You have hands-on experience across org design, performance management, employee relations, and change management

• You are commercially minded and tie people decisions to business outcomes

• You are fluent in data and can turn an ambiguous people question into a clear metric, analysis, and recommendation

• You find the root cause of hard problems and design solutions that cut across teams

• You communicate directly, exercise sound judgment, protect confidentiality, and earn trust across every level of the company

• You move quickly, take full ownership, and stay calm when priorities change

• You care more about building an exceptional company than following a traditional HR playbook

How we work
Whop is an in-office company of about 100 people. Most of the team are former founders and entrepreneurs. We give people real agency, meaningful resources, and ownership of hard problems. We expect everyone to move fast, tell the truth, and improve every surface they touch.

• Be technical. Your work should be correct, grounded in fact, and able to withstand scrutiny

• Force function. Solve the root cause and make the system materially better

• Disagree then commit. Debate hard before a decision, then execute together

The bar
We want a Talent Partner who leaders trust with their hardest decisions and who raises the talent bar across Whop. We care less about the exact titles you have held and more about the organizations you have shaped, how your decisions held up under pressure, and whether you made the company meaningfully better.

What Whop offers

• Best-in-class cash compensation and meaningful equity

• A high-trust environment with real ownership and direct access to company leaders

• The chance to shape the talent and culture of a company defining how the next generation earns a living

• Meals, wellness support, and office benefits designed for an in-person team

Equal opportunity
Whop is an equal opportunity employer. We consider qualified applicants without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity, or any other status protected by law. If you need a reasonable accommodation during the hiring process, let us know.
