Talent Acquisition Partner

Talent Acquisition Partner

Fairfield, Ohio (Hybrid) | Full-Time, 1-Year Contract

Help Shape the Future of Talent at Mattr

At Mattr, we believe great businesses are built by great people. We're looking for a Talent Acquisition Partner who sees recruiting as more than filling positions. This is an opportunity to influence business outcomes, build meaningful partnerships, and help shape the teams that will drive our future growth.

You'll work across a diverse portfolio of operational, technical, engineering, manufacturing, and corporate roles, partnering directly with leaders to identify, attract, and secure exceptional talent. If you're energized by solving complex hiring challenges, uncovering hidden talent, and building relationships that create long-term business value, we'd love to hear from you.

What You'll Do

Operate as a Trusted Talent Advisor

The best recruiters don't just fill jobs, they influence decisions.

You'll partner closely with hiring leaders to understand business priorities, challenge conventional thinking, and develop hiring strategies that deliver long-term success. You'll leverage talent market insights, competitive intelligence, and thoughtful consultation to help leaders make informed hiring decisions.

Find Exceptional Talent Before the Competition Does

We're looking for someone who enjoys the search as much as the hire.

You'll develop creative sourcing strategies, build targeted talent pipelines, and proactively engage high-caliber professionals who may not be actively seeking new opportunities. Your ability to identify and attract talent in competitive markets will be a key driver of success.

Build Relationships That Matter

Great recruiting is built on trust.

You'll establish strong partnerships with leaders across the business and become known for your ability to understand their challenges, anticipate hiring needs, and deliver solutions. You'll also build meaningful relationships with candidates, creating an experience that reflects the professionalism and values of Mattr.

Influence the Growth of the Business

Every hire has the potential to impact performance, innovation, and culture.

You'll play a direct role in helping teams grow by attracting talent that strengthens organizational capabilities and supports business objectives. Your work will contribute to operational success today while helping position the organization for future growth.

Think Beyond Today's Requisitions

This role is about building talent advantage, not simply managing vacancies.

You'll continuously develop talent communities, maintain market awareness, and identify emerging trends that help us stay ahead of changing workforce demands. You'll create pipelines that support both immediate and future hiring needs.

Improve How We Hire

We're building a modern, scalable Talent Acquisition function, and your ideas will matter.

You'll use data, market insights, candidate feedback, and recruiting best practices to identify opportunities for continuous improvement. Whether it's sourcing innovation, recruitment technology, candidate experience, or process improvement, you'll have the opportunity to make a measurable impact.

What Success Looks Like

In this role, you will:

• Become a trusted partner to business leaders, known for delivering talent solutions rather than resumes.
• Build strong pipelines of high-quality talent across multiple disciplines.
• Influence hiring decisions through market knowledge, talent insights, and consultative partnership.
• Create a candidate experience that strengthens Mattr's reputation in the marketplace.
• Deliver hiring outcomes that support business growth and operational success.
• Contribute to the continued evolution of a high-performing Talent Acquisition function.

What You Bring

• 3+ years of experience in full-cycle recruitment or talent acquisition, in-house talent experience is considered an asset.
• A proven ability to proactively source and engage talent in competitive markets.
• Strong process discipline to ensure talent activities are tracked against team and company metrics.
• Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management skills.
• A consultative mindset with the confidence to influence and guide hiring decisions.
• Curiosity about talent markets, workforce trends, and innovative recruiting practices.
• A passion for creating exceptional candidate experiences.
• The ability to balance competing priorities while maintaining a high standard of quality and service.
