Talent Acquisition - Internship

At Joko, our mission is to we help consumers save time and money when shopping online or in-store.

Founded in Paris, Joko is a tech company and certified B Corp with over 120 talents across Paris, Barcelona, and New York (and beyond). More than 7 million users already save money every day at 10,000+ merchants with Joko.

From cashback and automatic coupons to price alerts, we've kept expanding our products to make shopping smarter. Today, Joko is an AI shopping app: with Juno, our shopping assistant, users can find the right product at the best price in only a few seconds, with recommendations that get sharper the more they use it.

Having reached profitability in our core market, we’re now scaling globally, with a strong focus on the US.

It’s still day 1, come build the future of shopping with us!

🧲 Our Talent team

At Joko, hiring has been a founding obsession since day one. Our founders have always been convinced that you don't crack a market with a big team, you crack it with a small team of exceptional people. That bet has worked: we've grown to 6 million users and become one of France's most recognized shopping apps with just 30 people in the early years, and we've kept the same bar as we've scaled past 100.

The Talent team exists because we believe talent is the single biggest asset of a company, and that identifying, attracting, and closing the best profiles is a craft worth investing in seriously. We are constantly experimenting with state-of-the-art techniques, tools, and processes to find the people who will build the future of shopping with us.

Today, the Talent team sits within the broader People function, which also covers People Ops, People Business Partnering, and Workplace across France, Spain, and our growing footprint in the US. We're a small team with a big scope, and we move fast — which means real ownership for interns from day one.

✨ Why this role is special

Interning on Joko's Talent team is not a shadowing experience. Three things make this internship genuinely rare:

• Real ownership from week one. You will run sourcing sequences, screen candidates, and be trusted to make judgment calls — not just format spreadsheets. If you're good, we will lean on you.

• World-class hiring, up close. Recruiting is Joko's #1 company objective. You will sit next to a team that treats hiring as a craft, work with a modern stack, and learn what a truly high-bar recruiting operation looks like from the inside.

• The frontier of AI in recruiting. We are actively rethinking how sourcing, screening, and outreach are done with AI. As an intern, you will build, test, and ship parts of that with us.

🎯 What you will do

As a Talent Associate Intern, your main mission is to help the Talent team hit its ambitious hiring targets by owning sourcing and candidate operations on a set of roles, and by contributing to the projects that make our TA function stronger over time. You will work hand-in-hand with Antoine, our Talent Acquisition Manager, and closely with the full Talent team, hiring managers, and founders.

• Own sourcing for live roles: You will identify, map, and reach out to candidates on a defined set of roles. You will run LinkedIn searches, build target lists, write outreach sequences, and iterate on what works.

• Screen and qualify inbound candidates: You will review applications, run first-touch screens, and give clear, structured feedback to hiring managers on who is worth moving forward. Your judgment matters here.

• Support the full recruiting funnel: You will schedule interviews, prep candidates, coordinate debriefs, and make sure the experience is smooth on both sides. Great candidates should never be lost because our ops are messy.

• Experiment with AI in TA: You will get real time and space to test new AI tools on the sourcing and screening funnel — from smarter search to automated outreach personalization — and share what works back with the team.

• Contribute to broader Talent projects: Depending on your interests and the team's priorities, you may join projects on employer branding, hiring manager enablement, tooling improvements, or process design.

👀 Who we're looking for

• Profile: You are a student in a top program (business, engineering, or equivalent) looking for a 6-month internship, whether as a gap year or an end-of-studies internship. Prior experience in recruiting, sales, consulting, or a fast-paced startup is a plus, but not a requirement — what matters most is drive, judgment, and hustle.

• Ownership and hustle: You take initiative, you follow through, and you like taking something and running with it.

• Structured thinker: You turn a vague brief into a plan. You are organized, you keep track of what you commit to, and you communicate clearly in writing.

• People-savvy: You genuinely enjoy interacting with people. You're naturally curious about others.

• You actually use AI: AI is already part of how you work. You have real opinions on where AI help and where it doesn’t, and you're excited to push that even further in a recruiting context.

• Languages: You are fluent in French and comfortable working in English day-to-day (our working language).
