Tailwind - Commercial Manager

Tailwind EMEA, a ThinkDigital Group (TDG) company, is a marketing technology consultant and integrator for top brands and agencies in EMEA. For the last 12 years we have been excelling on a single mission: Better Media, as the regional partners behind some of the biggest names in ad tech — Amazon Ad Server, Integral Ad Science, Innovid, Xandr by Microsoft, GWI and CitrusAd. Our services and technology are trusted by tourism boards, global hotel chains, automotive brands, airlines, governmental bodies, and the region's most ambitious brands.

On top of that, we've just launched our own proprietary media curation product. Built in-house, utilizing years of ad tech experience and vast data, Marshall, our owned platform, is already delivering standout results in Europe, and it's about to make its debut in the UAE.

Wherever you're based, however you feel at your most productive, you will join a modern hybrid workplace with the added excitement of collaborating with a multinational, talented and always curious team. We believe that the future of work is defined by flexibility, location independence and should be built around the new needs of our clients, our teams and our people.

This is the role for someone who wants to be in the room when that happens, not reading about it later.

Impact:

As Tailwind's Commercial Manager, you will lead new business development in the UAE, with a dual mandate: growing our footprint across Tailwind's established ad technology portfolio (Integral Ad Science & Innovid ad server), and spearheading the launch of our own media curation product, Marshall, into one of the most high-growth ad markets in the world.

You'll be building relationships from scratch and deepening them where they already exist — working across some of the region's most recognizable tourism, travel, government and enterprise brands, while helping shape how a brand-new product finds its footing in a market that hasn't seen it yet.

In this role you will be reporting directly to Tailwind's Regional Head and working alongside Tailwind's team based in the UAE & Europe.

If you want to work in something new and exciting, that will equip you in both technology as well as media sales, work with the region's most exciting brands, launch a product with real momentum behind it, and be part of creating a fantastic culture for Tailwind EMEA here in Dubai, we would love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:

• Proactively identify, prospect and open new business opportunities across the UAE, with a primary focus on agencies.
• Build and manage a qualified pipeline from first outreach through to signed contract, owning the full sales cycle.
• Lead the go-to-market push for our media curation product in the UAE — introducing it to the market, shaping early positioning, and converting first movers into flagship clients.
• Build genuine, senior-level relationships with clients and agencies, becoming a trusted advisor, not just a vendor.
• Navigate multi-stakeholder deals across large, complex organisations including tourism boards, airlines and public sector bodies.
• Represent Tailwind at industry events, client roundtables and regional forums, building the brand's presence in-market.
• Develop deep fluency across Tailwind's technology stack and our own media curation product, becoming able to consult, not just pitch.
• Stay ahead of UAE and regional digital advertising trends, translating them into a sharp, credible narrative for clients.
• Work closely with Product, Marketing and Customer Success to ensure a smooth path from first conversation to onboarding.
• Keep CRM and pipeline reporting accurate and up to date, and report into the Regional Head on progress against targets.

We’ re looking for someone who:

• Has 3-5 years in B2B sales, business development or account management, ideally within ad tech, digital media or a related SaaS/tech environment.
• Demonstrates a track record of proactively generating and closing new business — not just managing what lands in their inbox.
• Is confident selling into multiple stakeholders, from marketing managers to director and VP-level decision makers.
• Has a strong grasp of the digital advertising ecosystem — Paid Social Platforms, DSPs, SSPs, Ad servers, Verification Platforms — or a fast ability to learn it.
• Exhibits sharp negotiation and objection-handling skills, with the composure to manage a long, multi-stakeholder sales cycle.
• Has a genuine entrepreneurial streak — ready to help write the playbook for a product launch, not just follow one.
• Embraces a collaborative, positive, and can-do approach.
• Enjoys business traveling when needed.
• Is fluent in English (required); Arabic is a strong plus given the market.
• Holds a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
