This role serves as a primary execution-focused engineering resource within the Infrastructure and Operations team, translating architectural direction into implemented, production-ready solutions.

The Systems Engineer is a hands-on technical contributor responsible for infrastructure engineering, automation, platform enablement, and project delivery across compute, storage, networking, virtualization, and cloud platforms.

This position works closely with central IT teams, application and data teams, faculty and research staff, and other technical and non-technical stakeholders to understand requirements, recommend solutions, and ensure infrastructure and platform services align with organizational needs while minimizing risk.
