Job Description:

Millennial Software is seeking a Systems Engineer to join our team. You will provide systems engineering and enterprise architecture support to Government customers while helping improve architecture, engineering, development, and integration processes. Our ideal candidate is an experienced Systems Engineer who can translate customer requirements into effective system architectures, processes, and engineering solutions.

You will work closely with customers and technical teams to assess existing architectures and workflows, develop future-state solutions, and support the transition between them. This role will contribute to requirements development, system design, testing, enterprise architecture documentation, and engineering review activities across mission-focused programs.

This position allows for a hybrid work option with three days in office and up to two days remote each week, as business needs permit.

Essential Functions:

• Provide systems engineering and enterprise architecture support to Government customers and mission teams.
• Work with customers to evaluate and improve architecture and engineering workflows, processes, and supporting tools.
• Develop and document system requirements, architectures, system designs, interfaces, and testing approaches.
• Analyze existing (“As Is”) architectures and workflows, identify future-state (“To Be”) solutions, and develop recommendations for transitioning between them.
• Develop standardized and repeatable processes supporting architecture, engineering, development, and integration activities.
• Apply systems engineering practices, including the Systems V, to support the development and delivery of customer solutions.
• Produce and maintain Enterprise Architecture Repository artifacts and other technical documentation as required.
• Support engineering review boards and technical review activities.
• Collaborate with engineering and development teams to support requirements analysis, system integration, and testing.
• Support the development and maintenance of Development, Test, and Operational environments.
