Description
We are Northrop Grumman Australia (NGA). Our 800 strong team is leveraging unparalleled global resources to deliver sovereign Defence capability aligned to the Government’s priorities across Aeronautics, Mission Critical Systems, Space and Guided Weapons. As we build our business and our capabilities, we are also developing a reputation as a great place to work. Help us define what is possible for our nation and for your career.
The Role:
Based in Exmouth, you'll help bring a major Defence communications capability into service through integration, verification and testing activities across hardware, software and infrastructure. It's a role for someone who enjoys getting beyond the paperwork, working alongside technicians and engineers to solve problems, investigate issues and see systems perform in the real world.
The program is still growing, which means the work continues to evolve. You'll have the opportunity to contribute across testing, maintenance support, systems engineering and operational readiness while building experience that is difficult to get in more narrowly defined engineering roles.
Exmouth is an opportunity to trade traffic and long commutes for a coastal lifestyle while working on a genuinely complex Defence program. The site is only minutes from town, and many people who relocate find the combination of meaningful work, outdoor lifestyle and close-knit community becomes a major reason they stay.
Australian Citizenship and NV1 security clearance required, or ability to obtain and maintain.

- Support integration, verification and testing activities across complex communications and mission systems.
- Investigate technical issues and work with engineers and technicians to identify practical solutions.
- Contribute to system acceptance, operational readiness and government-led test programs.

- Work closely with local and remote stakeholders across Australia and the United States.

This role is likely to appeal to engineers from Defence, SATCOM, radar, communications, ground systems or electronic systems environments who want more variety, more technical ownership and greater exposure to integration and test activities.
