Senior System Analyst at FinteqHub, a PCI DSS-certified payment gateway, turning business and technical requirements into detailed specifications for its Back Office payment-processing platform. Day to day: BPMN/UML modelling, API and data-model design, analysing payment/banking integrations, and shaping ClickHouse-based analytics.
FinteqHub is expanding its team and is looking for an experienced System Analyst to help develop our Back Office platform for managing payment processing.

To turn business and technical requirements into clear specifications that help the team build reliable Back Office solutions. You’ll define system behaviour, support integrations, and work closely with product, design, engineering, and QA.
Analyse business requirements and turn them into clear, detailed technical specifications.
Document domain entities, logical data models, use cases, web forms, API specifications, permissions, logs, business rules, edge cases, and other system behaviour.
Define frontend and backend interactions, API contracts, validations, and data flows.
Analyse existing payment provider and banking integrations.
Investigate L3 issues and change requests, and define the system changes required to address them.
Help solve complex Back Office challenges, including improving usability and user workflows.
Design analytics and reporting solutions, including solutions for large volumes of transactional data in ClickHouse.
Work with the Product Manager and UI/UX Designer on mockups that address user needs and technical constraints.
Contribute to architecture and solution design with the architect, engineers, and QA.
Propose feasible solutions, explain trade-offs, and contribute to API and system design decisions.
Participate in peer reviews to improve the quality, consistency, and accuracy of specifications.
Maintain and improve documentation, specification templates, and team standards.
At least 3 years of experience as a System Analyst.
Experience with payment systems, payment gateways, fintech, or banking is preferred.
Experience designing APIs, logical data models, integrations using different patterns, and microservice architectures.
Strong BPMN and UML modelling skills, including Sequence, State Machine, Use Case, and Class diagrams.
Experience using Postman, browser DevTools, and JSON editors.
Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
Ability to explain technical solutions clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Ability to work independently, take ownership, adapt to changing priorities, and flag risks early.
English at B1 level or higher for writing documentation.
Fluent Russian for team communication.
Knowledge of payment security, compliance, and regulatory requirements such as PCI DSS, KYC, AML, and GDPR.
Understanding of end-to-end payment flows, including authorisation, capture, refunds, chargebacks, 3DS, withdrawals, and reconciliation.
Experience with Domain-Driven Design (DDD).
Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.
