Systems Analyst

Position Type: Full-Time
FLSA Status: Exempt
Schedule: Standard business hours, with participation in an on-call rotation approximately one week per month. Occasional evening, night, or weekend availability may be required for system upgrades, downtime, or emergency support.

We are looking for a Systems Analyst to provide technical support, maintain information systems, troubleshoot issues, and help keep our technology infrastructure running efficiently across the hospital and satellite locations.
Position Overview
The Systems Analyst supports the organization's information systems, including computers, applications, servers, networks, and related IT infrastructure. This position is responsible for troubleshooting technical issues, performing system installations and upgrades, maintaining system security and integrity, and assisting employees with technology-related needs.
The ideal candidate is technically skilled, customer-focused, dependable, and able to work independently while collaborating with team members across the organization.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical support for computer hardware, software, applications, and network systems.
- Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot computer systems and applications.
- Perform system upgrades, software patches, and updates as needed.
- Support Active Directory, user account creation and deactivation, password resets, and access management.
- Troubleshoot and resolve end-user issues involving computers, peripherals, applications, and related systems.
- Support electronic medical record (EMR) systems and hospital applications as assigned.
- Assist with server maintenance, network troubleshooting, telecommunications issues, and other IT infrastructure needs.
- Monitor system performance and help maintain system stability, security, and data integrity.
- Maintain accurate system documentation, configuration records, and incident resolution notes.
- Provide technical guidance, training, and support to employees with varying levels of technical experience.
- Travel to off-site clinics and organizational locations as needed to provide technical support and install equipment.
- Respond effectively to urgent technical issues and system outages.
- Participate in the required on-call rotation, approximately one week per month.
- Maintain confidentiality of patient and organizational information and comply with applicable HIPAA requirements.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
Education
- Associate's degree in Information Technology or a related field required, or an equivalent combination of education, IT certifications, and relevant experience.
Experience
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience in IT support, systems administration, or a related field.
- Experience supporting end-user computing environments, including computers, servers, and applications.
- Working knowledge of Windows operating systems, Microsoft Office, Active Directory, computer hardware, software, and networking concepts.
- Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot hardware, software, and application issues.
- Strong communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently with limited supervision and manage competing priorities.
- Willingness to participate in an on-call rotation.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in a hospital or healthcare IT environment.
- Experience supporting EMR systems, such as Medhost or similar platforms.
- Industry certifications such as CompTIA, Microsoft, or network-related certifications.
- Experience with system installations, upgrades, patch management, and software updates.
- Familiarity with telecommunications systems and network support.
- Experience supporting multiple locations or facilities.
