We need a "Infrastructure Commander" to own, optimize, and fortify the backbone of our digital operations. Your job is to manage our bare-metal virtualization layers, build highly available storage meshes, automate deployments, and safeguard our corporate parameters from internal workstations to high-performance web routing. This is a remote, high-availability role for a systems specialist who views infrastructure as code and infrastructure as a fortress.
We value technical depth, self-reliance, and precision over corporate pedigrees. Whether you are a Linux purist who builds high-performance clusters in your sleep or a seasoned network engineer who can spot a vulnerability before a scan finishes, we want you. If you have the drive to maintain absolute uptime across our servers, automate our operational loops, and audit our ecosystem with cold, calculating precision, you will find your home here.
Virtualization & Storage Management: Architect, scale, and maintain our bare-metal hypervisors and highly available storage architectures, ensuring maximum data integrity and low-latency performance.
Environment Configuration: Deploy, harden, and scale our core Linux environment pools, using clean scripting and automated orchestration to keep configurations consistent.
Infrastructure Monitoring: Maintain absolute visibility over server health, application metrics, and infrastructure clusters, proactively hunting down system anomalies and resolving bottlenecks.
Outage & Incident Response: Stand as the front-line shield against unexpected downtime, troubleshooting system errors, server faults, and physical switch or routing issues with calm precision.
Security & Compliance Architecture: Deploy strict firewall rule sets, manage deep network routing loops, execute vulnerability scans, and maintain access controls to clear internal and external audits.
IT Logistics & Documentation: Manage internal user environments, build clear manuals for user access policies, handle technology tooling procurement, and run the IT backbone that keeps our global team secure.
You must possess deep hands-on expertise and deployment experience across the following stack:
Operating Systems: Linux Ubuntu (Advanced configuration, kernel tuning, and hardening).
Virtualization & Storage: Proxmox VE & Ceph (High-availability clustering, storage pools, block devices, and node management).
Databases & Web Servers: MySQL / MariaDB (Replication, indexing, queries) and Nginx (Reverse proxies, load balancing, SSL configuration).
Cloud & Automation: AWS (Core services infrastructure), Puppet (Configuration management), and Bash / Python scripting (Automating daily operations and maintenance patches).
Monitoring Systems: Nagios / Zabbix (Telemetry tracking, custom alerting rules, log aggregation).
Networking & Firewalls: pfSense, hardware switches, VLAN structuring, VPN routing, and clean network segmentation.
Corporate & Security Tools: Google Workspace (Identity provider provisioning, access paths), Vulnerability Scanning tools, and Penetration Testing frameworks.
The "Systems Engineer": Proven track record of managing distributed infrastructure, network nodes, and bare-metal server architectures under real-world pressure.
Audit-Ready Discipline: Experience or familiarity handling ISMS audits and vulnerability tracking, keeping everything documented, clean, and airtight.
Hyper-Availability: This isn't a passive 9-to-5 desk role. Networks don't care about time zones, and outages must be crushed immediately. You must be available 7 days a week to act as our primary infrastructure responder.
Operational Autonomy: Completely self-motivated and highly organized; you can execute complex hardware or software purchasing pipelines and upgrade patches without losing track of a single asset or license.
Location: Fully Remote.
Schedule: On-call 7 days a week (Requires high flexibility to handle real-time system maintenance, backup confirmations, and emergency incident responses).
Payment: All compensation is processed in digital assets (USDC/USDT).
We offer more than just a standard IT job; we offer the keys to an infrastructure engine room moving at lightspeed.
Extreme Architectural Sovereignty: We value raw technical execution over bureaucratic red tape. You will have the freedom to design, automate, and lock down our setups your way.
A Culture of Momentum: Join a fast-moving, digital-native team. If your code, configuration, or automation script is verified and ready to lock down on a Sunday afternoon, we run it.
High-Growth Upside: We value "potential over pedigree." For a System Administrator who maintains an uncompromised uptime record and systematically hardens our ecosystem, there is an unrestricted runway into senior infrastructure, security, and DevOps leadership.
