Love the water? Great with kids? Looking for a fun, active job where you can make a real difference?
British Swim School of Greater Miami is looking for energetic, dependable, and positive Swim Instructors to join our team at our Doral location.
You don’t need years of swim-teaching experience to be a great fit. We’re looking for people with the right personality, reliability, and willingness to learn. We provide training in the British Swim School program and teaching methods.
What You’ll Do
As a Swim Instructor, you’ll spend your shifts in the water teaching swimmers important water-survival and swimming skills while creating a positive and encouraging experience.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Teaching fun and engaging swim lessons
- Teaching water-survival and swimming skills using the British Swim School program
- Working with children of different ages and skill levels
- Keeping swimmers active and engaged throughout their lessons
- Encouraging students and celebrating their progress
- Communicating with parents about their swimmer’s progress
- Working closely with our deck staff and other instructors
- Following all safety procedures and teaching standards
- Helping maintain a clean, safe, and organized pool environment
- Creating an experience that makes families excited to come back each week
Who We’re Looking For
You may be a great fit if you are:
- Energetic, outgoing, and positive
- Reliable and punctual
- Comfortable and confident in the water
- Great with children
- Patient and encouraging
- A strong communicator
- Comfortable receiving feedback and coaching
- Able to work well as part of a team
- Looking for a job that is active and hands-on
Previous experience working with children, teaching swim lessons, lifeguarding, coaching, or aquatics is a plus, but we are willing to train the right person.
Why Work With British Swim School?
This isn’t a job where you sit behind a desk all day.
You’ll get to have fun, stay active, meet great families, and watch swimmers grow in confidence every week. Most importantly, you’ll be teaching skills that can help save a child’s life.
We’re looking for team members who want to bring great energy to the pool and become an important part of our swim community.
