Job Duties and Responsibilities

Develops high-performing backend services using Python and Java to support critical business operations.
Integrates secure and efficient RESTful APIs to facilitate seamless communication between distributed systems.
Manages database queries and architecture using SQL to ensure fast and reliable data retrieval.
Collaborates with cross-functional teams in Agile Methodologies sprint cycles to deliver incremental software updates.
Deploys containerized applications using Docker to streamline production environments.
Tracks code changes and coordinates team development workflows utilizing Git.
Optimizes Data Structures and algorithms to reduce system latency and enhance application scalability.

Required Qualifications

Education

Holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.

Experience

Brings 2+ years of professional software development experience building production-grade applications.
Demonstrates a strong background in writing object-oriented code and managing full software development lifecycles.

Knowledge/Skills

Masters programming languages including Python and Java.
Designs and implements RESTful APIs for modern web applications.
Writes complex queries and manages relational databases using SQL.
Applies Agile Methodologies to deliver high-quality software in fast-paced environments.
Utilizes Docker for containerization and Git for version control.
Understands core Data Structures and applies them to solve complex engineering challenges.

Preferred Qualifications

Contributes to open-source projects or maintains an active GitHub portfolio.
Gains familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.

Physical Requirements/Work Conditions

Operates effectively in a remote or hybrid office environment using standard computer equipment.
