Support For Trafficked People Program Mentoring Pilot - PwC Australia

One hour a week. 12 weeks. Lasting impact.
Why choose to volunteer with Red Cross?
Become a mentor through PwC's partnership with the Australian Red Cross and support a person who has experienced modern slavery as they build confidence, navigate the Australian job market and take the next step toward safe, sustainable employment.
The program
The Support for Trafficked People Program (STPP) helps people who have experienced modern slavery by meeting their immediate safety needs, security, health and wellbeing, and by supporting them to develop options for life after they leave the STPP.
Every year, survivors of modern slavery face significant barriers to finding safe and sustainable employment, including limited professional networks, gaps in local work experience, cultural barriers and challenges navigating the Australian job market. 67% face barriers to stable employment.
Through a new partnership initiative between PwC and the Australian Red Cross, a small group of PwC professionals will be matched one-to-one with participants who are ready to take the next step in their employment journey.
