Supervisory Quality Assurance Specialist

The mission of the Defense POW/MIA Accounting Agency (DPAA) is to provide the fullest possible accounting for our missing personnel from our Nation's past conflicts to their families and our Nation. DPAA personnel research, investigate, recover and identify remains of DoW personnel unaccounted for from World War II, Korean War, Vietnam War, Cold War, Iraq conflicts and the Persian Gulf War.

Incumbent typical work assignments may include the following: Leads, coordinates, and manages the agency-wide Quality Assurance Program (QAP) across three laboratory facilities. Directly supervises and manages a team of Quality Assurance Specialists, assigning and prioritizing work, providing technical guidance, evaluating performance, and ensuring effective resolution of technical and personnel issues. Manages contracts and procurement for external accrediting body fees, annual surveillance audits, and specialized equipment/anatomical reference standards (COR).
