WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Marketing Science is responsible for guiding the insights and analytics practice for OM’s highest profile clients. We work closely with agency partners to shape the strategic direction of our clients through data driven insights, audience / advanced analytics and performance driven measurement.
As an Supervisor, Marketing Science, you contribute to the development and execution of the Marketing Science vision for our Clients. Reporting to the Group Director, Marketing Science, you are a senior strategic and analytic resource within the agency.
Main responsibilities
- Thought leader for client teams with respect to data-led strategy, measurement and insight
- Responsibility for key Marketing Science outputs per client:
- Client Business Overviews
- Measurement Frameworks
- Learning Agendas
- Data Visualization
- Models
- Insight development through direct data analysis
- Authoritative communication with Clients; being a subject matter expert as it relates to Media Strategy, Measurement, and Insight, including testing, MMM, ROI, and competitive analysis.
- Work with Strategy teams to identify and develop project-based initiatives
- Carry out evaluation for analysts and senior analysts
- Manage team priorities and workloads
- Participate in internal projects to enhance company growth
- Resolve technical campaign problems through quality control and campaign auditing
- Participate in the coaching and development of team members
- Contribution to test design and Setup, including writing test proposals and coordinating with internal and external parties
- Be the main point of contact for client-side insights and analytics resources
- Audience – Ability to develop and provide guidance to clients and internal teams on audience insights using large datasets. Familiarity with activating, reporting and insight generation for segmentation schemes necessary
WE WANT TO KNOW YOU IF YOU HAVE
- Client Management: 4+ years in a client facing role, and an ability to discover, interpret, and respond to their needs.
- Digital Performance management: 4+ years measuring and optimizing Digital Media advertising
- Statistical Analysis: Ability to apply common Statistical analyses in a media context, including concepts such as Correlation, Clustering, regression analyses,
- Data and Marketing Technology: Familiarity with current Data and Martech solutions, particularly those associated with Google, Adobe, Facebook, DMPs, and analytics vendors. Fluency with concepts of database design and SQL
- Digital and Data Marketplace: Understanding of publishers and platforms in the Canadian Marketplace
- Digital Analytics: ability to develop and defend meaningful measurement of Digital media according to its purpose and role within the consumer journey
- Offline Media: Understanding of the execution and measurement of offline channels
- Media Planning: 4 years experience with Digital media, as well as experience with the roles, measurement, and process associated with offline channels
- Media Strategy: Experience in contributing to plans from received objectives through Strategy, tactic selection, and measurement
- Storytelling: Ability to translate data into action-based insights for our clients, informing and persuading as necessary, tailoring communication to a variety of audiences
- Education: Post secondary education in statistics, mathematics, economics, engineering, information management, social sciences or business/marketing related fields. Advanced degree is preferred
- Tools: Direct experience with, and proficiency in Standard and advanced data analysis tools and languages including Excel, R, Alteryx, Python, SPSS, SQL

$70,000 - $90,000
Omnicom’s policy requires employees to work in the office for a minimum of three days a week, unless additional in-office days are directed by their agency or manager. Our objective is to increase this requirement over time, and many of our agencies as well as Omnicom’s corporate group already require five days of in-office attendance.
