Your role in the team
As a Strategic IT Procurement Specialist you are responsible for the procurement and strategic management of IT equipment.
Your responsibilities
Strategic Procurement Management
- Develop purchasing strategies for required IT hardware
- Define and review device configurations from various manufacturers based on different customer needs
- Read configuration files and verify the accuracy of offers and manufacturer setups for requested devices
Supplier Management
- Evaluate suppliers and their specific offers based on criteria such as price, innovation capability, and quality
Stakeholder Communication
- Communicate with internal and external stakeholders
- Ensure reporting and documentation standards for both internal and external purposes
What we expect from you
- Solid multi-year experience in IT purchasing or in the field of IT smart devices (configured workplaces)
- Affinity for IT and strong technical understanding
- Experience with tools and ERP systems (procurement systems)
- Strong negotiation and communication skills
- Excellent English and German skills, written and spoken
