A statistical programmer supporting a contract with the National Institute of Child Health and Human Development (NICHD): designs studies/surveys, computes sample size and power, builds and executes analysis plans, does statistical programming and database management, and presents results to the client. Core tools are R and SAS.
The Prospective Group (TPG) is searching for a Statistical Programmer to work in a collaborative team environment on a contract with the National Institute of Child Health and Human Development (NICHD). The candidate should possess the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously, have the flexibility of working both collaboratively and independently.
Position Responsibilities:
- Provide statistical support:
- study/survey design
- sample selection, sample size and power calculation
- analysis plan construction and execution
- statistical programming and database management
- Present analysis results to client
Position Requirements:
- Masters in Statistics, Biostatistics or Bioinformatics or related field
- One year or more of experience
- Proficient programming skills in R and SAS
- Strong analytical skills
- Strong knowledge in statistical theory:
- longitudinal data analysis
- high-dimensional data analysis
- Experience in health studies
- Excellent communications skills
Position Pay Range:
$70,000 - $75,000 USD
