Own end-to-end product execution for NexHealth’s healthcare infrastructure platform, spanning SaaS, APIs, payments, and user experiences while partnering with engineering and design to ship high-impact features weekly.
About NexHealth
Our healthcare system remains frustratingly analog. When you live in a world of one-tap car rides, instant meal delivery, and unlimited streaming, why do you still have to call to schedule a doctor’s appointment and fill out a clipboard in the waiting room?
NexHealth’s mission is to accelerate innovation in healthcare by connecting patients, providers, and developers. We’re building the infrastructure layer for modern healthcare, connecting thousands of fragmented, on-premise, and closed EHR systems into a single, modern platform that powers software, APIs, payments, and patient experiences across the ecosystem.
- Founded: 2017
- Headquarters: San Francisco, CA
- Funding: $177M Series C
- Employees: 200+
- Trusted by tens of thousands of providers and hundreds of health-tech developers — forging the infrastructure layer that modern healthcare needs
About the Role
Build the best products possible for healthcare—period. As a Staff Product Manager, you will own end-to-end product execution at NexHealth. Your north star is product excellence, not revenue maximization. You won’t be tied to any single business unit—your work will span multiple surfaces and domains based on the highest priority problems in the company. We believe that obsessing over building the right product is what unlocks long-term company value.
What You’ll Do
- Full-stack product ownership across discovery, delivery, and iteration on any surface area (SaaS, API, Payments, Infrastructure).
- Weekly engagement with users: front desk staff, providers, developers, and patients.
- Roadmap development and prioritization grounded in first-principles thinking.
- Partner with Design and Engineering through tight, fast build cycles.
- Embed with Sales, Customer Success, and GTM teams to support launch, adoption, and feedback loops.
- Define, track, and manage product metrics at the feature and platform level.
- Design and drive exceptional end-to-end user experiences—from backend architecture to delivery mechanisms and UI layers.
What You'll Bring
- You make the product objectively better for our users every week. Developers love building on NexHealth.
- Systems are simple, elegant, and scale as the business grows.
- MVPs are launched monthly, not quarterly.
- Roadmaps reflect user pain and opportunity.
- You raise the bar for how the product is done at NexHealth.
- You bring clarity to complex product areas and elevate cross-functional execution.
- 8-12 years of experience as a full-stack product owner in SaaS or API businesses.
- Proven success operating at $100M–$500M+ scale and supporting complex GTM motions.
- Experience building API-first products for developer ecosystem is a plus.
- Exceptional first-principles thinker and systems designer.
- Strong design thinking—able to move seamlessly from technical details to user experience.
- Deep ownership mentality: you act like a founder, not a feature PM.
- Bias for clarity, speed, and simplicity over process and polish.
- Ability to thrive in ambiguity, ruthlessly prioritize, and deliver real results fast.
You Might Thrive Here If
- You believe a great product is the best growth strategy.
- You’ve built at scale, not just prototypes.
- You care about outcomes, not vanity delivery.
- You move faster with less structure—and create your own clarity.
- You want to help shape the future of healthcare infrastructure.
Why Now
We’re in Step 3 of NexHealth’s growth journey—scaling our platform and operations. We’re not hiring you to optimize revenue—we’re hiring you to build the best products possible.

Our Values
- Solve the customer’s problems, not yours
When making decisions, think from the perspective of the customer. It’s easy to make decisions that make our lives simpler, but not the customers. - Do the things others are not willing to do
As a Nexer, always go after the hardest problems. Pursue things at the highest quality. Move at the fastest pace. - Take ownership
Act like a founder. Own your roles, destinies, mistakes, behavior, and our mission. The buck stops with each of us - no blaming or excuses. - Say what’s on your mind, with positive intent
Be direct, proactive, transparent, and frequent in your communication. - Default trust
As a Nexer, you do not have to earn trust, trust is given to you by default. If we by default trust each other, our speed of communication, feedback, information sharing, and overall improvements will be a lot faster. - Think in first principles
We first identify the problem and then break it down to its fundamentals before diving into solutions. We constantly ask “why” to validate our assumptions.
