About Blinq

Blinq is the AI contacts app for people who meet people.

We're on a mission to unlock the world's relationship potential. So much of what's possible in the world is locked inside relationships that never quite happen. A missed conversation, a forgotten follow-up, the right person at the wrong time. We're building so those chances aren't left to chance.

What started as the world's #1 digital business card is now used by 4 million professionals and at 93% of the Fortune 500. We've raised $45m+ from Blackbird, Square Peg, HubSpot Ventures, and Touring Capital.

Why join Blinq

• You want to be part of an AI-native company at an inflection point. Big enough to have real momentum, customers, and resources. Small enough that the work you do shapes where it goes from here.
• You want to do the best work of your life alongside people doing the same. We hold an unusually high bar for talent and we hire people who treat that as a feature, not a threat.
• You want to build something globally ambitious from a part of the world that doesn't always think this big. Our team is in Sydney, Melbourne, San Francisco, and New York, and we're betting that the next category-defining company in our space comes from Australia.
• You want to work in person, on purpose. Three days a week in the office, two wherever works for you. Creative energy and momentum compound face to face.

How we work

We've all joined Blinq to find out how good we really are. That shows up in how we work:

• We are professional optimists. We think what's possible first and let constraints come second.
• We hold an insanely high talent bar. A players only.
• We are obsessed with craft. The details are the thing, not the polish on top of it.
• We are truth obsessed. We say what's true even when it's uncomfortable, and we have the courage to pursue contrarian but correct bets.
• We do more with less. Calculated frugality and beautiful simplicity guide how we build.
• We are all here to genuinely do our life's best work.

Our Product team turns bold ideas into seamless experiences that people use in their most important moments - introducing themselves, making a first impression, staying top of mind. We obsess over the details that transform a quick “hello” into the start of a lasting relationship. If you love creating intuitive, high-impact products that redefine how people connect, let’s build it together.

Role & Impact

You will help design what comes after Blinq’s first chapter. Blinq starts in a uniquely human moment: two people meeting in the real world. We’ve made it effortless to share who you are in that moment. Now we’re exploring how Blinq can help people find the right people, understand the context around a connection, remember who they’ve met and turn first interactions into relationships that actually go somewhere. As a Staff Product Designer, you will shape that future from the ground up, taking complex, ambiguous problems and turning them into products that feel remarkably simple and human. You will work closely with Product, Engineering and our founders, while raising the bar for product thinking and craft across Blinq.

What You’ll Do

You’ll join at a stage where some of our most important product questions are still open. You’ll help turn ambiguity into direction, moving between understanding the problem, exploring possibilities and shipping exceptional experiences.

• Own problems end to end, from framing the opportunity and shaping direction with Product and Engineering, through exploration, prototyping and validation, to holding the experience quality bar through launch.
• Shape 0→1 products and interactions across the moments before, during and after people meet.
• Partner deeply with Product and Engineering to challenge assumptions, make smart trade-offs and influence what we build, not just how we build it.
• Turn complicated systems, behaviours and edge cases into experiences that feel simple, intuitive and unmistakably Blinq.
• Know when to go deep and when to move fast, aligning with the team on what the problem needs, making good decisions with imperfect information and keeping the quality bar high either way.

What You’ll Bring

• A body of work showing meaningful ownership of complex, ambiguous or 0→1 product problems, from early thinking through to launch and impact.
• Exceptional visual, product and interaction design craft, backed by the systems thinking needed to make complex products feel simple.
• Strong product judgement and the ability to influence senior Product, Engineering and company leaders through the quality of your thinking.
• Comfort operating without a playbook. You’re curious, decisive and energised by finding the problem, challenging assumptions and moving between strategy and pixels.
• Leadership without authority. You create clarity, bring people with you, give useful feedback and make the designers and product teams around you better.
