Staff Data Scientist on Google's Health Search team, building the evaluation frameworks, metrics, and methodologies (statistics, causal inference, LLMs) that keep AI-generated health answers in Search safe and high-quality, while partnering with product and engineering leadership on strategy.
In this high-impact role on the Google Health Search team, you will define the future of AI-generated health guidance, a top Alphabet priority. You will develop and own the core evaluation frameworks, metrics, and methodologies that ensure our AI-powered health answers are safe, helpful, and of the highest quality. Partnering closely with Product and Engineering leaders, you will influence strategy and roadmaps by translating complex data insights into actionable recommendations. You will also apply and pioneer advanced statistical, machine learning, and large language model (LLM) techniques to solve novel challenges in the safety and helpfulness of health information.
