SR Software Engineer (Test Architecture & Product)

At Zallpy, technology is created by curious, collaborative people who care about doing things well. If you enjoy environments where there is room to ask questions, test ideas, learn, and grow together, this opportunity is for you! 💚

We are looking for someone to join a team that thinks big, works with attention to detail, values partnership in everyday work, and shares responsibility. We believe in autonomy, the exchange of different experiences, and building solutions together.

Here, growing means sharing knowledge, respecting different ways of thinking, and building relationships based on trust while delivering high-quality technology.

If this way of working resonates with you, come join us.

What you will do:

• Architect, build, and maintain robust automated test suites using Playwright
• Act in a strategic hybrid role: set up a high-level test automation foundation and progressively transition into core product feature development
• Collaborate directly with software engineering squads to embed quality and automation coverage from the ground up
• Integrate and support automated test execution within CI/CD delivery pipelines
• Investigate complex execution issues, trace root causes in the codebase, and drive continuous architectural improvements

What we are looking for:

• Solid background as a Software Engineer, with a developer mindset focused on writing clean, scalable, and maintainable code
• Advanced English for fluent technical and business communication
• Deep, practical experience in test automation using Playwright
• Solid experience in the .NET ecosystem (C#, .NET Core/6+, and Web APIs) for both test automation development with Playwright and application logic
• Ability to proactively identify automation opportunities and design E2E testing strategies
• Hands-on experience with modern CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and delivery integration
• Collaborative and continuous-improvement mindset, with enthusiasm for both test architecture and hands-on software development

Nice to have:

• Experience with other modern web automation frameworks (such as Cypress)
• Familiarity with Agile frameworks and cross-functional engineering squads
• Knowledge of unit and integration testing frameworks in .NET (xUnit, NUnit, or MSTest)
• Prior experience in roles that bridged test automation (SDET) and product feature development

Where you will work:

• This is a 100% remote position.
