About the team
Network Capacity Services ensures that planned network hardware converts to live capacity — serving traffic when and where it is needed across AWS's global infrastructure. Our systems process demand across 54 network departments, serving planning horizons from material procurement to power planning.
We own the demand management platform (used by hundreds of planners), the network forecast (the signal consumed by supply chain), an escalation system that proactively detects and routes procurement blockers, and a data platform that enables analytics across the network demand
lifecycle. Our team is investing in platform modernization (migrating to event-driven architecture on modern AWS services), AI-powered operational tooling, and new capabilities that improve forecast quality and procurement efficiency. We are a collaborative team that values technical depth, data-driven decision making, and iterating quickly to solve real customer problems.
