As a Sr. Product Manager, Perioperative and Procedural Solutions, you will lead the continued success of IMO Health's perioperative solutions while defining and executing the company's strategy to expand into adjacent procedure-focused service lines. Leveraging IMO Health's clinical knowledge, terminology, and governance capabilities, you will identify opportunities across surgical services, cardiovascular services, catheterization labs, electrophysiology, and other procedural areas that share common scheduling, ordering, documentation, and reimbursement workflows. These solutions help health systems improve workflow efficiency, charge capture, reimbursement, operational performance, and clinical outcomes. As the voice of the customer and market, you will translate evolving healthcare needs into innovative solutions that deliver measurable business value.
The ideal candidate combines healthcare domain expertise, product management experience, and deep knowledge of Epic procedural workflows. This individual understands how procedures are ordered, scheduled, documented, and governed across perioperative and other procedure-focused service lines, and can translate that expertise into innovative solutions that improve workflow efficiency, data quality, reimbursement, and clinical outcomes.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
- Partner with surgical services leaders, perioperative directors, physicians, revenue cycle leaders, CMIOs, and health IT teams to understand clinical, operational, and financial challenges.
- Develop and maintain deep expertise in EHR procedural workflows, including how procedures are ordered, scheduled, documented, billed, and governed across surgical services, cardiovascular services, catheterization labs, electrophysiology and other relevant areas.
- Identify, prioritize, and validate new opportunities that extend IMO Health's clinical knowledge into adjacent procedure-based service lines.
- Define product strategy, outcomes-based roadmaps, and supporting requirements for IMO Health perioperative and procedural content offerings.
- Collaborate with channel partners and EHR vendors to improve integration of procedure and perioperative content within clinical workflows.
- Guide cross-functional teams (with representation from engineering, architecture, client services, sales and marketing) through the product lifecycle process amidst a rapidly evolving landscape and competing priorities
- Monitor regulatory, reimbursement, quality reporting, and interoperability requirements affecting surgical and procedural care delivery.
- Create compelling product positioning, messaging and value propositions that demonstrate measurable clinical, operational, and financial outcomes
- Establish pricing in partnership with sales, marketing, and finance counterparts
- Partner with product marketing, sales, and customer success teams to drive market awareness, pipeline expansion, and revenue growth.
- Work closely with content licensors, standards organizations, and third-party vendors supporting procedure, terminology, and perioperative workflows.
- Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, customer empathy and continuous improvement.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED:
- 5+ years' experience in a healthcare provider setting, or related product management functional experience.
- Extensive experience using Epic ordering, scheduling, and documentation workflows, including how clinical content supports procedure ordering, scheduling, charge capture, reimbursement, and operational performance.
- Understanding of Epic master files supporting procedures, medications, laboratory tests, imaging studies, supplies, implants, charges, and clinical documentation workflows.
- Understanding of healthcare revenue cycle processes related to surgical and procedural services, including prior authorization, charge capture, coding, claim editing, or reimbursement optimization.
- Understanding of clinical data standardization, interoperability, or healthcare AI solutions.
- Knowledge of CPT, ICD-10-PCS, HCPCS, SNOMED CT, LOINC, and other clinical terminology standards relevant to perioperative and procedural workflows.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder collaboration skills.
- Occasional travel for on-site team collaboration.
