Technology is at the heart of Disney’s past, present, and future. Disney Entertainment and ESPN Product & Technology is a global organization of engineers, product developers, designers, technologists, data scientists, and more – all working to build and advance the technological backbone for Disney’s media business globally.

The team marries technology with creativity to build world-class products, enhance storytelling, and drive velocity, innovation, and scalability for our businesses. We are Storytellers and Innovators. Creators and Builders. Entertainers and Engineers. We work with every part of The Walt Disney Company’s media portfolio to advance the technological foundation and consumer media touch points serving millions of people around the world.

Here are a few reasons why we think you’d love working here:

Building the future of Disney’s media: Our Technologists are designing and building the products and platforms that will power our media, advertising, and distribution businesses for years to come.

Reach, Scale & Impact: More than ever, Disney’s technology and products serve as a signature doorway for fans' connections with the company’s brands and stories. Disney+. Hulu. ESPN. ABC. ABC News…and many more. These products and brands – and the unmatched stories, storytellers, and events they carry – matter to millions of people globally.

Innovation: We develop and implement groundbreaking products and techniques that shape industry norms, and solve complex and distinctive technical problems.

Product Management is responsible for driving the overall user experience, feature strategies and concepts, and engagement paradigms for Disney Entertainment & ESPN's global portfolio of consumer-facing streaming and digital products – including Disney+, Hulu, ESPN, ABC, ABC News, Nat Geo, Marvel, and Star Wars.

We’re looking for a Commerce & Growth Product Manager to drive impact across our most critical user and revenue surfaces — including acquisition, engagement, and retention. This is a high-visibility, high-velocity role designed for a PM who thrives in dynamic environments, can quickly ramp into new problem spaces, and consistently delivers measurable results.

You’ll rotate through time-sensitive, high-priority initiatives across different product areas, partnering closely with engineering, design, data, marketing, and business teams. This role offers broad exposure to multiple growth levers and commerce systems, making it ideal for a PM who wants to deepen platform expertise while building a strong track record of business impact.

What You’ll Do

Own end-to-end product strategy and execution across commerce and growth initiatives, from discovery through launch and iteration.
Drive impact across key surfaces including:

○ Acquisition (onboarding flows, landing experiences, conversion funnels)

○ Engagement (feature adoption, lifecycle experiences, experimentation)

○ Retention & Monetization (subscriptions, pricing, paywalls, incentives, lifecycle optimization)

Rapidly ramp into new domains and deliver impact on time-sensitive, high-priority projects.
Identify opportunities using qualitative research, data analysis, and experimentation.
Define success metrics, design experiments (A/B tests, cohort analyses), and iterate based on results.
Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, design, data science, marketing, and operations.
Balance short-term wins with long-term platform scalability and technical health.
Communicate product vision, strategy, trade-offs, and results clearly to stakeholders and leadership.

Who You Are

7+ years of product management experience, including experience building and shipping consumer products at scale.
Proven experience working on growth, commerce, or monetization initiatives with measurable impact.
Strong understanding of acquisition funnels, monetization, retention drivers, and lifecycle optimization.
Comfortable working with experimentation frameworks and data-driven decision-making.
Ability to quickly absorb platform architecture and constraints while maintaining deep empathy for users.
Skilled at balancing business goals, user experience, and technical considerations.
Thrives in ambiguous environments and can prioritize effectively under time constraints.
Clear, concise communicator with strong stakeholder management skills.
Bachelor’s degree required

What Makes This Role Unique

Rotational, high-impact projects: Work on urgent, strategic initiatives across multiple product areas.
Broad surface area exposure: Gain hands-on experience across acquisition, engagement, retention, and monetization.
Platform + User Depth: Develop a strong understanding of underlying systems while shaping end-to-end user experiences.
Accelerated Growth: Ideal for PMs who want to expand their scope, sharpen execution skills, and build a diverse portfolio of impact.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with subscription businesses, growth, and monetization.
Experience leading cross-functional initiatives that required influencing without direct authority.
Experience in experimentation and track record of driving impact.
Experience working in fast-paced, high-growth environments.
Demonstrates the ability to translate ML/AI capabilities into measurable growth outcomes across acquisition, engagement, retention, and monetization
Strong understanding of model constraints, algorithms, and iteration cycles, with the ability to apply this knowledge to real product and user experience decisions
Proven track record of partnering closely with ML engineering, data science, and cross-functional teams to ship scalable, production-ready solutions
Data-driven mindset with hands-on experience in experimentation (A/B testing, cohort analysis) and defining success metrics to optimize performance

Success in This Role Looks Like

Delivering measurable improvements in conversion, retention, or revenue.
Successfully ramping into new domains within weeks and shipping impactful improvements.
Building strong cross-functional trust and momentum.
Leaving each surface stronger, more scalable, and more user-centered than you found it.
