Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Includes the following essential duties and responsibilities (other duties may also be assigned):
Porting and bring up Intel, AMD, ARM server platforms on the OpenBMC codebase
Support OpenBMC platform enablement, including device tree / HW configuration, driver integration, and boot-up validation
Perform BMC firmware development, debugging, testing, and maintenance
Develop and maintain IPMI and Redfish APIs for RoT-related features
Collaborate with EE/hardware engineers on new platform bring-up, hardware validation, and issue resolution
Support build system, CI, and release activities related to OpenBMC/Yocto-based BMC firmware
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering or Computer Science preferred; Master's degree strongly desirable
3+ years of embedded/BMC firmware development experience
Hands-on experience with OpenBMC, platform porting/bring-up, and Linux/C/C++ development
Knowledge of IPMI, Redfish, and server platform architecture
Strong debugging, testing, and cross-team collaboration skills
Experience with Intel, AMD, and/or ARM server platforms preferred
Familiarity with one or more software or hardware protocols preferred, such as I3C, I2C, USB, UART, PECI, MCTP, PLDM, SSIF, and PMBus
Linux driver development experience is a plus
