Are you energized by the continuous change of consumer technology and anticipation of the next exciting, new release? Are you inspired by innovation, e-commerce, and the continuous pursuit of improving the customer’s experience? Amazon Retail finance seeks an analytical, results-oriented Financial analyst to partner with the Retail team that handles goods and experiences of various industries. “Finance” in Amazon has similarities to 経営企画室・経営戦略本部 in Japanese companies with ownership of a wide variety of planning and analysis responsibilities.
This is a unique opportunity to work with a dynamic team and drive Amazon’s Retail operating model. This person will directly partner with business leaders of one of the retail business divisions, ensure strong controllership over the business unit's topline, profit and free cash flow, lead financial and operational analyses, and develop / implement plans and mechanisms for business improvement. The ideal candidate will have a proven ability to provide strong analytical support for decision-making, to think strategically, to advise in creating/improving mechanisms, and to lead business reviews.
At Amazon, you'll work alongside the latest AI and GenAI tools that are increasingly woven into how teams operate: from AI-powered capabilities that accelerate decision-making, to Generative AI that helps you focus on work that truly matters. You'll have opportunities and resources to develop AI fluency at your own pace, with continuous learning built into the culture.
