Sr. Director, Product Design at Highspot – Seattle | Jobyssey

About Highspot

Highspot is pioneering the category that is fundamentally changing the way companies increase sales productivity. On a mission to transform the way millions of people work with sales enablement, Highspot is committed to building breakthrough software with a spark of magic. We believe a great place to work is about more than the work – it’s about what the company stands for, and how it authentically represents its values in the real world. To this end, we have put intentional focus on creating equitable workspaces for each of our employees. Our goal is to create a culture where everyone feels a deep sense of belonging and is empowered to be an agent of change, with the ability to transform themselves, their workplace, and their world.

About the Role

We are a robust centralized design team where all creative functions mingle and have purview across the entire company. Product designers, hyper-focused on delivering a world-class product that reps love, collaborate with visual designers that are always pushing our brand in innovative ways, challenging every pixel. Our digital media designers create compelling story-driven content using critical insights provided by our user experience researchers that allow us to experiment and push for quality over quantity. Our design operations folks remove barriers, enable us to all do our best work, and build connections within and without the team.

Together, we are a team that designs together, one that empowers and lifts each other up, and that fosters trust not only in ourselves but trust in our team. A culture of openness, honesty and the ability to provide and receive constructive feedback are important to us. Communication and collaboration are key.

We also believe that great teams are inclusive in their composition. Being surrounded by a diversity of backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives bring out the best in everyone and lead to higher-quality products and experiences.

You are a driven creative leader with the perfect balance of skills to drive the project forward, manage the team to make it happen, and willingness to roll up your sleeves to get things done. You should have a passion for usability, an eye for visual consistency, and the ability to synthesize complexity into its essential parts. You are an effective diplomat with strong communication and organization skills who is willing to advocate for the design position in the face of senior balancing points from product management, marketing and engineering leadership. “World-class” is the bar and you have the desire to take us there!
