Lead all phases of construction and capital improvement projects, including design, construction, permitting, occupancy, quality control, staffing, scheduling, closeout, and budget management.

Partner with senior leadership to define project scope, objectives, success metrics, priorities, and execution strategies.

Lead cross-functional project teams and coordinate designers, contractors, vendors, user groups, executives, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment and successful outcomes.

Manage and mentor approximately 5–10 project team members across concurrent initiatives, providing coaching, performance guidance, resource allocation, and professional development.

Establish client-focused communication strategies that maintain transparency, strengthen engagement, and proactively address project concerns.

Facilitate high-impact meetings and influence decision-making across client, design, construction, executive, and vendor stakeholders.

Monitor project performance against KPIs, schedules, budgets, contracts, quality standards, and service-level expectations, identifying root causes and recommending corrective actions.

Oversee contract management, financial performance, expenditures, and budget controls while ensuring compliance with client agreements.

Manage project documentation, responsibilities, deliverables, milestones, procurement activities, furniture acquisition, relocation processes, and related workflows.

Identify process improvements and implement best practices that improve efficiency, scalability, sustainability, and client experience.

Deliver projects and client solutions contributing to approximately $1M–$3M in annual revenue while maintaining alignment with broader business objectives.

Build and maintain relationships with clients, public agencies, K-12 and higher education institutions, community stakeholders, and industry partners.

Support business development by defending existing relationships, reengaging dormant accounts, expanding current opportunities, and identifying new prospects.

Maintain an active presence within the Triad and broader North Carolina market through client engagement, industry participation, and community relationships.

Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and promote a culture of accountability, collaboration, learning, and high-performance delivery.
Requirements:

Typically 10+ years of project management experience with exposure to multiple large, complex, and unique projects.

Expert-level construction project management capabilities, including experience overseeing projects across multiple phases and disciplines.

Demonstrated experience leading, mentoring, coaching, and developing project teams.

Strong client engagement skills and a proven ability to build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders.

Strong analytical, strategic thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.

Ability to identify root causes, evaluate potential solutions, assess ROI and risk, and make sound recommendations.
