Team Overview

The Marketing team formulates the brand and company's marketing strategy — across market channels, brand marketing and media — and drives the campaigns and research that grow the business and strengthen our influence with the industry and our users.

As Senior Brand Manager for Mobility in LATAM, you'll own the brand and marketing strategy for the Mobility business across the region and lead a talented team to deliver it. This is a strategic leadership role: you set regional brand direction, own the fiscal-year plan and budget, and act as the bridge between marketing and senior business stakeholders — turning Mobility's business objectives into a coherent, market-relevant strategy your team can execute across LATAM markets.

Role Responsibilities

Connect the business ambition to the brand vision, developing a strong brand positioning that delivers high user-impact and value

• Owning and designing the marketing strategy for Mobility, translating business OKRs, user insights and sources of growth into an actionable fiscal-year plan and roadmap that goes beyond tactical campaigns — increasing market share and positioning DiDi as the preferred brand
• Understanding the local market (LATAM) — competitors, trends, regulation and macro context — and shaping strategy around their implications for the brand and business
• Leading strategic, complex marketing projects with multiple internal and external partners, aligned to brand and business goals
• Owning full budget responsibility within your scope, including forecasting, prioritization and resource allocation
• Leading metric systems and analytical frameworks, and championing a data-driven culture across the team
• Ensuring brand consistency across touchpoints and over time, and proactively addressing complex brand issues
• Serving as the point of contact for business teams and communicating with senior leaders
• Leading your team: setting and tracking goals, running performance reviews, coaching, building IDPs, and developing talent
• Translating the strategic vision into clear direction and acting as a role model of company values

Role Qualifications

• Strong strategic thinking — you look past the surface to the core of a problem, think creatively beyond your function, and take a long-term, big-picture view
• Proven experience owning a full-year brand and marketing strategy end-to-end for a business or region, not just executing campaigns
• Excellent briefing skills — able to translate deep insights and strategy into outstanding briefs
• Experience leading a talented team with direct reports, including performance management and talent development
• Solid brand-building expertise, with strong command of marketing methodology and tools and understanding of adjacent areas (media, research, creative, attribution model)
• Experience across LATAM markets and the ability to balance regional consistency with local relevance
• Data fluency — comfortable building and improving analytical frameworks and driving decisions from insight
• Excellent executive communication and stakeholder management, able to influence decisions and align cross-functional teams
• Experience owning a marketing budget, staretgy and plan end-to-end
• Resilience, a growth mindset, and self-driven passion for results
• Experience in tech or fast-paced digital companies is a plus — not mandatory.
